The best way to help legislators understand the scope of hunger in their state or district is to see it first-hand. Our goal is to have every member of Congress visit a food bank or feeding site, and we need your help to make that happen!

This presumes that Michael Burgess would do anything humane. Folly to think that. Nothing I've ever suggested has ever got anything more than a "thanks for contacting me, but..." email reply. 👎

Signed and noted. Thanks, Cal. Mass. Senators and some Reps do visit food banks, kitchens, etc. A reminder won't hurt, however...

Signed noted and think its a great idea for members of Congress to visit schools that have food lunch program, food banks and homeless shelters that give food to the hungry and homeless. It may open their eyes and hearts to the plight of hungry especially children.
