Instead of bringing "multiple benefits " to the people they brought multiple deaths. These companies are the scourge of the earth no amount of compensation can adequately compensate for the loss of life. Those responsible should go to prison for a very long time.

There's no doubt that oil is needed. I think there should be restrictions placed on the amount of destruction that can be done in an area, and rules stating that this should be restored as soon as possible by replanting after the site is no longer being used. This would at least limit the long-term devastation.
