Human rights attorney Mario Joseph and Tourism Minister Stéphanie Villedrouin are both trying to improve Haiti, but they are following radically different paths. The one wants justice, the other wants tourism.

It's sad to see that the people are still enduring such suffering. I visited Haiti 32 years ago. It was my first look at a poor country and made a deep impression on me. I hope something is done to help the plight of these people.

The UN is responsible for the outbreak of Cholera and should make restitution to these poor people. However in order to attract tourists there has to be something to do and see from what I can make out the country is in ruins and there is no healthcare whatsoever. It will take generations before it will become a tourist attraction if ever.

Justice is a no starter, tourism will help over time but they need help to rebuild the infrastructure.
