Midwestern Waters Are Full of Bee-Killing Pesticides

Neonics have shown up at significant levels in wetlands near treated farm fields in parts of the High Plains and in Canada, as wells as in rivers in ag-heavy areas of Georgia and California.

The farmers in their ever increasing search for higher crop yields are the biggest culprits in this.If they manage to poison the population who do they think will then eat their crops.

Stevie A, "To paraphrase Marie Antoinette, Let the polluters drink the polluted water."? Are you an idiot? I'm just wondering, if organic farmers use this water, are they still organic?

As a Midwesterner, I can only hope that farmers will wise up around here and move toward organic methods. There is a considerable market for local and organic, but sadly, the price of poison-free food keeps many consumers buying tainted food. This is a sorry state of affairs. The more we buy local and organic, the better. I can't always afford it, though, unfortunately. I would f I could!

Humanity's shortsightedness and misplaced trust in institutes are slowly choking us to death... and we have only ourselves to blame.

EPA certainly didn't do their job when they allowed use of this pesticide. NOW something MUST be done to STOP the use of this poison and protect the Bees we still have.
