Signed. Okay, maybe I'm getting old here, but the term "genderqueer" is that a new term? In my time stating that a person was "queer" left a negative overtone to it. Can anyone get me up to speed with this terminology? I'll track this thread. Thank you.

Dandelion, wikepedia has it define, to summarise it is an umbrella catch-all category for gender identities other than man and woman (overlap, 2 or more, without, transient, and above it all) and "Genderqueer was one of 56 gender identity options added to Facebook in February 2014." It seems to me you could have just said "One in five women, and a number of men" in the petition as it seems all encompassing, especial when it's an unspecified amount where I would assume "women" encompass those that fall into the new grouping.
