George W. Bush has said he was "proud" to serve alongside top aides Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld after his father and former President George H.W. Bush ripped into both men for being "iron-ass" and "arrogant" during his son's time in the White House.

Noted. Thanks, Cal.
First, not buying or reading the book. And, second, the book was "damage control." I am laughing.

Just shows how dumb Dubya really is. Dad's writing a book that's trying to take the pressure of him and blaming others for his terrible mistakes for which he might (should) end up in The Hague and he doesn't see what Dad's been trying to do: clear all the Bush a$$es, past, present and future.

Although I agree with many of the comments, I love that Bush senior told the truth about Cheney and Rumsfeld. Dubya was not smart enough to cause all the problems those two helped him create. Cheney needs to retire to his ranch and stay off faux news. His day as an influence in DC is over. I had nothing but contempt for anyone in Dubya's administration. Still don't.

Yet more evidence of his political loyalty and even more of poor decision making. Even after all these years out of the limelight, with no pressure and time enough for reflection, he still doesn't get it. His underlying issues run too deep, he will never see the light.

The Bushes were a revelation for the 1% and a catastrophe for the average American. George was the optimum puppet, Jeb is not that same person, Dad was misguided - a prelude to the puppet. Too bad for America.

Once a political puppet, always a puppet. Their not bad asses in my opinion...they're evil evil ,hate mongering, mentally sick bassastards ...me thinketh.

Next to Monsanto they 've caused more death and destruction, needlessly, together than the world can repair in one persons life time. I only say 'next to Monsanto' as Monsanto is still marching full speed ahead with their evil plans/ways in order to fill the pockets of their 1%ers with their power struggle to control our worlds food and beverage supplies with their poisons.

Dubya and his entire Presidential cabinet/staff must be charged with war crimes in this nation, just as Dubya has already been charged with in a few other nations...........!! Their evil must not be rewarded in this or any other nation.........period !
