Born and raised in Mpls, lived there until 1981, when gangs started taking over my neighborhood. MN, and Mpls in particular, has been front runner in greening up the communities...some neighborhoods do better than others. Nice to see they've kept the forward pace instead of sinking back into fossil fuels, etc. Of course, MN is a Democratic stronghold...

This is what happens when you have an increase in population and a decrease in responsibility.

Interesting. I truly do hope this process achieves the goals that are hoped for. If it does it can be a leader to others. Of course, reducing waste would be good too.

Nice example of what could/should be done. I learned to drive a stick shift in a blizzard in Mpls - good times.

I am glad to see that Hennepin County is still working towards being carbon-neutral by 2030. I work in Hennepin County, and can say it is definitely heading into the right direction as to green living.

Thanks, Cal! I've also done my part by explaining and helping neighbors in North Mpls. sort recycling into the proper carts. (Green for organic, blue for inorganic)
