The United States should consider spiraling food prices that hurt the world's poor when it sets policies that are funneling much of its corn crop into biofuel production, the World Bank said on Wednesday.

What we need is sanity - fuel from waste crops, not food. What can we do? If you can afford it, buy an electric car - America has enough power at night to charge about 84% of the nation's cars if they were electric without any new power plants.
