It's unbelievable. The G20 -- the most powerful summit of world governments -- meets tomorrow to discuss the global economic crisis, and who is sponsoring the meeting? Banks and corporations! What a shame. Sign and share widely!

It's unbelievable. The G20 -- the most powerful summit of world governments -- meets tomorrow to discuss the global economic crisis, and who is sponsoring the meeting? Banks and corporations!

No wonder the site of the meeting -- the French city of Cannes -- is completely locked down to any ordinary citizens, while banks and large corporate CEOs have all access passes to tell our governments what to do.

Corporations and banks have captured our governments, winning vast bailouts after helping to create the crisis. Now they are buying their way into the very meeting that could decide the world's financial future. Together we can persuade summit President Nicolas Sarkozy to cancel the sponsorship -- let's build a massive public outcry that causes a media firestorm and forces Sarkozy to kick out the corporate sponsors and clean up the G20. Sign the petition and forward widely!

The Gr$$d soaked private sector is at it again and the governments are up to their dastardly collusion as usually.. Thanks Jelica these brazen disease ridden families and the governments that serve them have too much time on their lazy hands. Occupy will soon fix what ails the world. Outrageous Destructive, gr$$d.

Petition signed.

Not thrilled with the idea that the banks and corporations have a large footprint in this.

Wonder what is going to happen to the smaller countries with IMF, WBO and other ilk corporations.

Ty, Jelica.

"[A]nd who is sponsoring the meeting? Banks and corporations!"

And who created a worldwide crisis (many of them on purpose -- in order that they could reorder the world and its masses into "proper" places/positions)?

And who were bailed out -- without any strings, Austerity Bootstraps, the slightest of repercussions, or even any meaningful new regulations (reinstatement of Glass–Steagall Act) (while they continued whining and Lobbying in onslaughts about too many regulations?

And who purposely and maliciously defrauded this entire country via calculated Robo-Signing measures -- of which the (CDO) derivatives were sold worldwide, knowing that they would also destroy the economy of those entities and/or governments?

And who supports keeping Wages for the 99% @ 1978 levels (because it serves to reorder the world and its masses into "proper" places/positions)?

And who told (TOLD) our government that there will be NO Public Option?

And who threatens to, then follows through on, downgrading the country's economic status -- unless their demands are met?

And who faces No Repercussions for the latter (holding the country hostage)?

And who, after creating a worldwide crisis (many of them on purpose -- in order that they could reorder the world and its masses into "proper" places/positions), continue to ram through Austerity Bootstraps for 99% of the earth's citizens -- under PR Campaigns of Shared Sacrifice?

Phil, one plan for smaller countries might be to hit the road tracked by South America countries back in 1980es and Island 2 years ago. Kick IMF, WB, ECB and the ilk out! Greece is going to have a referendum about EU plan for debt refinancing.

We might hit 100.000 signatures in the first 12 hours! Isn't it cool? Sarkozy might start re-thinking this shameful sponsorship.

BTW, Greece PM was invited to join G-20 to discus his subversive move, e.i. allowing Greek people, voters and tax-payers, to decide about banks bail-out at their expense. Signing this petition will ease his position, too.

Thanks for your support, folks. We are The 99%.

And there is my name, number 179.910. And then it is running, another name, and another name, and it carries on. It is so enjoyable to see how the 99 percent have become aware, and how all are working towards the freedom of society and nature worldwide. Thank you Jelica. I cannot send you a star, this week, but you do deserve one.

The petition was launched 60 hours ago. By now, it has over 400.000 signatures, and still growing strong. Pretty nice to watch!

Thank you all for your signatures, forwarding, comments and green stars. It is beautiful to see you all in action.

You might have heard by now that the Greece PM is abandoning his proposal for referendum about debt measures. It is possible that the Greece government will resign, and new elections will follow. So, this situation is far from over.

I am sorry I was not here yesterday. I had a small accident, I fell and I hurt my ankle, knee and hands. With both legs injured, it is difficult to move and even sit. I have bruises and swellings, it hurts like hell. Nothing was broken and I expect to be well soon. Meanwhile, I try to sleep as much as I can, so I will not hang out here much for couple of days.
