Noted. That is a very good and informative article on the health benefits of organic farming.

With all the bad news about products from China these days, one might add that organic *locally grown* produce is better. Uses less fuel when you don't ship it. Visit a farmer's market today!

I'm not sure this is accurate anymore.
Are you aware of the changes made in the US concerning what constitutes as "organic"? It's pretty horrifying.
I still buy organics from companies that I know were organic before the standards were lowered.

Anyone who's eaten hothouse tomatoes (and who hasn't?) knows that nothing compares with homegrown, organic tomatoes. And they're so easy for anyone to grow! And these days, growing your own vegetables seems like the only way to guarantee that they're not irradiated or contain gmo's. That, and buying from your local farmstand. What a sad turn our food supply has taken.

noted! I have a small garden that helps my family. It keeps our costs down...and they taste so much better than produce that can be bought at the store.
