Folks...Please just take a few moments out of your busy day and watch this video.
This has got to STOP!
Seems like not a day goes by that you don't here of this happening in the U.S.
Their are many more ways to handle this situation than to shoot one's beloved dog and family member. This poor guy held it together more than i would have but he is totally emotionally upset for sure.
Please watch,then share.
Thank you so much,Dan.

"SALT LAKE CITY, Utah A man in Salt Lake City confronts police officers after he gets a call from animal control that one of the officers shot and killed his dog in the backyard of his home.

Sean Kendall recorded the entire confrontation and posted it on his Facebook page; you can see the video above.

The officer who shot the dog had already left the scene by the time Kendall arrived; authorities on scene said the officer felt threatened by the dog as he was looking for a child. As it turns out, the child was found sleeping in his basement of his family home shortly afterwards.

My pleasure jess.As a former A.S.P.C.A. Humane Officer,i know their are different ways to handle this situation than to have to shoot the animal.
In my opinion...this was NOT justified!

Thank you for your comment Natasha :-).
Yes...it must STOP!
I'd like to know why he used 'excessive force' in the first place.Chemical mace and Taser could have been used instead.Or they could have called Animal Control to help with the dog.Or,as he said..."the officer could have just backed off".So many other things could have been done for sure.
