According to FACEBOOK the pregnant pit bull was rescued and the Pomeranian has been left behind. Allegedly the pit rescuer was not interested in keeping the duo together. It makes me wonder who wanted the pit bull and for what purposes. I'm very wary of animal adopters. Pit bull puppies bring a high price for people involved in illegal activities involving pit bulls.

Ginger, did you network these dogs at all? What are your updates? Please inform ASAP.

Posted on FaceBook that both have been rescued. The Pit Bull was pulled today, and the Pomeranian will be pulled tomorrow 6/27. They're being pulled by START Rescue/S.T.A.R.T Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team.
They'll be safe, but they still need homes. If interested, check START Rescue on Facebook.

My heart is sad for these two friends ... I hope that a good person will have mercy on them and come out of death row. They do not deserve such a sad ending ... I shared their story on facebook and twitter. Thank you for good people to do their utmost to save them. In their place, I would see those who abandoned ... ! Not you?

With tears in my eyes falling I can provide the following comment from Antje Stobbes:

"Antje Stobbe Start Rescue/S.T.A.R.T Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team. rescued Momma and has a CTA on Pom. We can not get her till 6/27 as the shelter vet is assessing her spay might not happen due to her age). NO ONE is getting left behind, this is a bonded pair!!! Pledges are going to donations@startrescue.org - Please note for "BONDED MOM & POM". Feel free to wait until Pom is also OTB

More than heartbreaking - how can we, who are supposed to be the caretakers and guardians of God's innocent creatures, do these despicable things to them. I pray the two of them go to the best home ever.
