We all must pray for those suffering from Hurricane Sandy, no matter what words we use it is important that we raise our voices and support each other. I wish I could help in ways other than prayer.

May these poor, innocent people be helped soon and may they rebuild homes and lives better than ever before.

On behalf of my friends back East who are still without power and unable to see or respond to these good thoughts, "Thanks."

Why is this even a story, especially here?? I'm sure millions of people, of many faiths and nationalities are praying for the victims of Sandy. Is C2NN going to print every story of every peoples "praying" for Sandy victims?

Thanks for posting this story, Scarlett. It's at times like this you find who your true friends are.

This is wonderful. I read that Muslim Imams have said Hurricane Sandy was punishment to the U.S. for the film about Muhammad. What a refreshing and lovely thing it is to know that our true friends are praying for this country's wellbeing in a disaster. Thank you, Israel.

Thank you, Scarlett, for posting.

Robert O.,

I guess a jaundiced anti-Semite like yourself would have trouble understanding this.

What is the point of praying? There is no credible scientific or factually reliable evidence of the existent of a God, gods or the supernatural.

Right, Ray. Now, evidence clearly shows that the light Mosses went up 3 times, was to an alien ship. He saw little people at 9 wheels. They even painted pictures of the ships. They called it, god. Mosses brought back christianity. It was meant to stop war. It didn't work. In fact, it backfired. It caused more war.
You have to be and act like christ. Peaceful and giving. You can't just use it or go to church. You have to live it.

Muslims say it is a punishment(what would they know) - and here we have Israeli students - hearts in the right place - praying for a good outcome for all who are reeling from the effects of Sandy. Be'ahavat Yisrael. shalom.
Thanks Scarlett.

Who is Jason to talk about God? He can't even spell Moses, and he's been reading bible for science fiction fans. His rants sound like he ate the sign he's holding, which has some funky stuff in the ink.

Hey, Ray and Jason,

What do you have to say about this?

MUSLIM CLERICS SAY SANDY IS 'GOD'S WAY OF PUNISHING AMERICA FOR ANTI-MUHAMMED FILM'

MUSLIM CLERICS SAY SANDY IS 'GOD'S WAY OF PUNISHING AMERICA FOR ANTI-MUHAMMED FILM' Absurd and not true.

Ray S, your defending Islamic hate, which is clearly spouted in Islamic scriptures against all non-Muslims ('kill unbelievers wherever you find them', 'take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends' etc etc etc), is nothing but pure Taqiyya - one of the forms of lying promoted by Islam for Muslims to do as long as it promotes Islam and helps Islam gain advantage over the rest of us.

Here's the article about the hate speech of some Muslim clerics. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2226642/Muslim-clerics-say-Sandy-Gods-way-punishing-America-anti-Muhammed-film.html

BTW Ray, if 'there is no god' why do you work so hard to defend the most hateful deity and ideology in the world, Allah and Islam? Your atheism sounds more like Muruna than truth.

It is very pleasing to hear of the students praying for the American people affected by Sandy,
Might the students also take time to ask their government to kindly return some of the -$30 billion in the military aid. it will receive from 2009 to 2018 from theUnited States , New Jersey alone "donating" $1,340,553,857.77
I'm sure the affected people would find this a very practical aid to restoring the damage and a great example of "what friends do "

Christine Linley, $3 Billion is given to Israel as goods manufactured in US and giving jobs to tens of thousands of Americsans. This help going to Israel helps Israel to protect that little country from Arab states, waiting in attack it. At least, you can see that Israeli youth prays for the well-being of Americans.

To follow your logic, we better ask Islamic nations to give back 30 Billion in US Aid given to them as CASH. They get US cash, burn US flags and pray to their gods to punish infidel Americans for youtube videos about Muhammed.

Ray and Jason, say whatever you want about gods, but at least Christians and Jews won't chop off your heads. Unlike "sincere" believers, who don't take such nonsense for granted.

I agree with Christine L. "Might the students also take time to ask their government to kindly return some of the -$30 billion in the military aid. it will receive from 2009 to 2018 from theUnited States , New Jersey alone "donating" $1,340,553,857.77

I also agree with Robert O. : "Why is this even a story, especially here?? I'm sure millions of people, of many faiths and nationalities are praying for the victims of Sandy. Is C2NN going to print every story of every peoples "praying" for Sandy victims?" To me that post is "not worthy", but in fact it is propaganda. Not only America was hit by "Sandy", but also the Caribbean, Cuba, Haiti - but no - you don't hear anything about them !
Give me a break.
