More recently we reported on a study showing that the combination of commonly used pesticides can triple Parkinson's risk, and another identifying the mechanism through which pesticide exposure may trigger onset of the disease.

Is ity any wonder that since the fifties we have increasingly polluted every facet of our environment including ourselves with chemicals and hormones? I don't wish anyone ill but there is so much truth in the old adage you reap what you sow. All these diseases are part of what we have set in motion and they are being visited on us and our children. Still, Big Pharma; Big Medicine and Big Life Insuarance promise future cures all with their hand extended for more money and no cures in sight.

One of these days we will realize that most of our present day maladies are self inflected...

Of course pesticides are responsible for Parkinson and they are responsible for cancer and other diseases. Pesticides and other chemicals are killing thousands of people everyday. And chemicals companies DON'T care as long as they are getting rich from it. I think they should BANNED all chemicals!!!!!!!!

The power of money has presided over approvals for too long. Now there is some independent research that the lobbyists didn't expect. Let's band together to assist each other to survive in a state of health. We can do it. Sign, call, and write. Tell your family and friends. None of us have the time to research we must depend on each other. Thanks for caring.

Can we bill the responsible corporations and agribusinesses proportionately for the health care needs attributed to the pesticides?

this kind of evidence can't be ignorned, but somehow the Greedy Oil Polluters who don't care about the world or people will find a way to do so.....

This information would be more hopeful if it provided a direct link to all cases of Parkinson's. However, I am aware of quite a few people battling this condition who did not have this type of exposure. The most we can deduct is that these chemicals may be responsible in some cases.

Thank you for the information. I knew many who worked in fields that had the condition.

Well, yeah...they're neurotoxins! As far as how long this link has been's the reason they banned No-Pest Strips and Black Flag in the 60's. No-Pest-Strips came back re-marketed using a different formula. Remember the mosquito trucks at night spraying malathion? Almost no one had air-conditioning and all of our windows were open. Now this generation has Parkinson's.

This is both pathetic and infuriating.
People, we need a government that works FOR us--not one that will take our money, then make and break promises!
Our government says with a strong military, we don't have to fear invaders and terrorists---hell, I don't--I fear our government, because from the supreme court on down they have fed us poison and lies--and expect us to pay for it!
