An estimated 80 percent of Americans are deficient in magnesium. The health consequences of deficiency can be quite significant, and can be aggravated by many, if not most, drug treatments.

Very interesting & important for me as i'm currently considering magnesium for my 84 year old mother who is on Warfrin, fluid meds, blood pressure meds & has heart arrhythmia.
Thank you.

Magnesium has long been an unsung hero of supplements. I am glad it is finally getting some recognition because more people need to be aware of it's long term benefits.

Magnesium has helped my wife enormously by reducing her arrhythmias and muscle spasms in her back. She takes a little less than teaspoon of liquid magnesium from Pure Encapsulations daily after dinner. Her doctor said this is a very bioavailable form and its less than the RDA. The side effects are some drowsiness (which actually helps her sleep at night) and also her stool is a little softer.

I am writing this only to help others since magnesium has been so helpful for my wife.

After checking with mum's doctor i've put her on magnesium, he suggested Magnesium Aspartate Dihydrate 500mg, i gave her 2 tablets 3 times a day for the first week & cut back to 1 tablet 3 times a day after that. The results after a few days were absolutely amazing! She must have had a deficiency, her moods changed 100% for the better, she's having less pain, numbness, cramping & there is a marked difference with heart arrhythmia! i'm hoping it will help with her mild diabetes as well. i've been telling everyone! These fantastic benefits have not only helped mum but also myself being her carer!

THANK YOU Ellyn this article has changed our lives!

Thank you for posting and AniMae for alerting me to this piece. I wish I'd know this sooner for my own Mother, it might of explained a few things.

O what a shame we couldn't help your mother with this Dandelion. It's something to keep in mind & certainly tell others about.
