Thank you Andrea, Walter, Quanta, Am, Masha and Kerry.

The Congo, which has been wracked by intense armed conflict for years, is a major source of the minerals we need for electronics such as iPods, iPads, and Macs.

But who is profiting off the sale of those minerals in the Congo? In many cases, it's the armed groups that have fueled a conflict that has killed five million people and led to the rape of hundreds of thousands of women as a tool of war.

Many software companies have stepped up and worked toward assuring customers that their materials are conflict-free and not contributing to violent groups' pockets. But not Apple. As massive as Apple is, it is considered one of the worst tech companies regarding conflict minerals.

The Enough Project is asking Apple to guarantee that its products are conflict-free and investigate its supply chain.

Sign this petition to tell Apple that you want to know the products you buy from them aren't tainted by funding rape and violence abroad.

I think many people are turning a blind eye to what's going on the Congo. So I'm very happy to sign.

I agree with you, Marc. Not buying the products is where it really hits them, but they have to know why you're not buying it, or it's useless.
