Excellent and timely post ! Especially since more people have been sickened across the country by foster farm chickens. And I love it when this gets in the main stream press. And if that doesn't do it for people, try a litany of other excellent and ethical reasons provided here. But some people unfortunately, turn a blind eye and deaf ear. On the plus side, I have seen consumers of corpses change direction sometimes slowly, and sometimes in a revolutionary heart moment after alighting upon something unholy in this unholy destructive industry. Power to the information !

Has been a vegetarian since 1968, 95% vegan since 2005 and now I'm trying to go fruitarian and has never been ill, living a happy life and can recommend everyone to do the same. Grow also 80% of the food I eat for 40 years.

My grade school class was taken on a field trip to the first factory farm in our rural area. It was tiny compared to what is happening today but it still shocked and sickened me. The image and smell of that place is still in my mind all of these years later.

I agree with Ben, Ruth and Laurie. The best way to boycott the awful factory farming system is to stop eating meat. There is power in your fork - use it! Go vegan for the animals and for Mother Earth!

While some people stop eating meat when they learn that animals suffer, majority do not. This animals live in hell from birth to death. Thank you Genoveva!

How can people say "I love animals" and let them suffer in factory farming?
Go vegan!

I am a vegetarian for about year to 99.9%, apart from the protests from my family, this is an act easier to do than you might think

I desperately wish I could go vegetarian, but I can't as I keep suddenly going very anaemic - however for decades i have only ever bought organic food - that being the most ethical way to buy it, as far as I know.
