Researchers in China have found drug resistant DNA from GMO organisms, in every river they tested. These are manufactured using antibiotic resistant genes, and these bacteria are now exchanging their genetic information with the wild bacteria in rivers.

It is only a matter of time before we have a horrendous pandemic - and with water getting scarce, people will drink tainted water, and catch and spread more disease--

I'm afraid we're suffering from our way of using natural resources

Scary business. It's really dangerous what we are messing around with. No one can foresee the future effects of all this.

We don't have to worry about the aliens from otter space destroying us. We are on our way to making everything here on earth extinct.

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.

thanks for posting this very interesting and VERY alarming article Sylvia..... I agree that we have NO respect for water, using and abusing it as a means of transport for our waste and abusing it in technology for cooling and treating.....we will regret this..........I am thinking more and more that the last battles on this earth will be over water....if push comes to shove and it is a matter of life or death, you can not go more than a couple of days without water, SCARY?
