This article is garbage. "Payday" loans are made by unregulated companies and the interest rate on such loans often exceeds 100% a year. Banks can not make payday loans because the interest is usurious.

If you can afford a bank account, why would you want a pay day loan? Only a very desperate person who don't have a credit card or a bak account goes to a payday lender. You can thank our weasly politicians for putting the American people in what amounts to a bear trap.

Once we wake up from our reality TV coma our 'representatives" are going to run for the hills.
