Morris, I can't imagine how a government has no feelings or compassion for its own national animal? Isn't the kangaroo the national animal of Australia? Well...and that too, to slaughter 400 hundred of these beautiful creatures at one go. Oooof it's really so horrible I say. I just can't imagine the futility of the government to make such a rash decision. My heart bleeds for these poor innocent creatures. I hope and pray that the government will change its mind and rescind its orders. Thanks Morris for this info. Noted with a sad and heavy heart!

I'm sorry that it has taken me this long to fine you again; also to return only to read such bad news. It's utterly disgraceful to hear/read that Kangaroos are still being KILLED for no good reason; the Australian Government should be a shame of them..
(I hope that's possible to fine my way back here again).

Go to Canberra and see the drought. The animals are getting killed on the roads (like deer no road sense) looking for water. When there is an over population like there is at the moment and no water or food then we cull them. This is not cruel and we are not destroying our national treasure.

I still this it's utterly disgraceful that you feel it's okay to KILL KANGAROOS because they're looking for WATER, and they have to cross ROADS; well, it seems that the Human population of have forgotten that ALL ANIMALS were on earth long before MAN, therefore should require more respect towards animals and stop Killing them; they are your NATIONAL TREASURE! Be thankful that you aren't living in a Country without Food/Rain - what would do then? This so call CULL-KILLING - should stop.......
