Great info - I worry about the eucalyptus oil being used around cats - essential oils are hazardous to cats - they cannot metabolize them and over time it causes them to have liver failure. It's cumulative. Some cats have died with having essential oils applied directly to them. A room should be well ventilated if using Essential Oils in the presence of cats.

Two benefits w/one plant: plant up your garden w/lavender. You will save honeybees (which are practically endangered by "Colony Collapse Disorder", and you can pick the lavender for use in your house (linen closet, closets with natural fibers like silk, wool, cotton, linen----the lavender keeps away the mnoths which eat up clothing!)

Here's another safe mosquito repellant. Now is a good time to make up a batch to ward off those pesky vampires. This keeps them away without having to use toxic repellants, plus it smells great!
So here it is: mix together 2 oz. Lotion. I use Neway's safe Tangible lotion add 30 drops of Lemongrass, 25 drops of Lavender, and 20 drops Peppermint essential oils.
