Violence has killed more than 15,000 people in Syria since a revolt erupted last year, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Thursday.

Nearly as much as some 30 years ago under Assad's father: 20,000 dead.

No oil, no other "interesting" exportation, far from everyone's bed, so no intervention whatsoever.


The whole world is watching, and and nothing.

It's tragic, nobody gains anything, so many people dead. If they had resources like oil, it would have been different.
