Global Warming Unchanged Since 1997

There has been no net global warming in the last 16 years and, in fact, the global temperature today is the same as it was in 1997. Climate change scammers always talk about how the Arctic is getting warmer, but they ignore the Antarctic,

which has been setting records for coldness and sea ice. Basically, the climate change scammers and the mainstream media are lying about scientific data, by purposely omitting the Antarctic from their claims. Daily Mail and Forbes

Well of course it remains unchanged...the U.S. and it's GOP in Congress aren't doing anything to help with the problem that's for certain. All they want is to go againt things that will help at least slow it down if nothing else but instead the GOP and Rightwing are only interested in deregulating the industriew that are contributing the most to the causes for it not changing for the better. Same for B.S. anti-science moronic articles like this one.
There are plenty of articles about the Antarctic on line Maui..perhaps more people read those than you think :-).?

Unmitigated BS. Tell the survivors of Sandy and the tremendous tornados this spring that climate change isn't reality. I'm sure your head must be warm and comfortable but you should pull it out for air!

This is one the oldest statistical tricks in the book with respect to climate change. 1997 was one of the warmest years on record due a particularly strong El Niņo. If you use that year as a baseline, the numbers are going to be skewed. Use any other year as a starting point for your "theory" and the results will be drastically different and will show a distinct warming trend.

And the Conservatives' denial of anything that might hinder their rampant drive to increase their wealth at the expense of everything--and everyone-- else remains unchanged since 1897.

The climate change deniers are getting just a bit tiring.

Maui - do you read anything beyond Breibart? Really, the amount of propaganda you post is astounding. Even if they pay you a penny for every sentence, you must now be one of the 1%. What next, you going to try and support Akin's statement regarding "legitimate rape" and his science behind the rape/female body biology which prevents women from getting pregnant through rape.

Whew! That's a relief. For a moment I thought we were in trouble there.

But no. I've read this and am completely reassured that nothing has changed. I'll sleep well tonight.

It's not as if New York has been hit by a hurricane or anything. So everything's okay.

Thanks for posting.

Good idea, Catherine. Let's all stop talking about it, shall we? Then it will go away. Simple as that.

There. I'm sure we all feel better already, safe in the knowledge that everything's going to be okay. Never mind what all those silly-head scientists say. What do they know anyway? We know better, don't we?

Sleep well, everyone. Night night. Sweet dreams.
