GM maggots are expected in Brazilian fruit imports as the country moves forward with an open release of millions of genetically modified Mediterranean fruit flies. Live GM flies could also be transported in the fruit. No release date has been announced.

This is sick and very worrying how do they know the offspring will die off and anyway there is a reason they exist a small number is normal.
