The herbicide glyphosate (active ingredient in Roundup) was introduced in 1974 and its use is accelerating with the advent of herbicide-tolerant, genetically modified (GM) crops. Evidence is mounting that glyphosate interferes with metabolic processes.

Very powerful and noteworthy article. They (the suppliers and makers of these chemicals) should be in jail!
Time to break these Monopolies up, and reduce their power.
Thank You Victoria.

What these folks are allowed to do is amazing. And that folks still buy the products is, well, stultifying. Would say it is about educating people but it seems it is more about needing to make them care. Thank you posting, Victoria.

If glyphosate was meant to be in our food supply, it would have been a natural ingredient already. I was most alarmed by the EPA's "reasonably certain" that levels are safe...who assess the aggregate safety of all the toxins in our food instead of evaluating each separately??

I know of nobody that will give up growing GMO. IT has much higher yields than NON GMO. If you want no GMO, be prepared to pay twice what u are now for food. I deal with food, I know the outcome of what would happen if you the uneducated get your way.
