People who work together, can achieve much.

As John Stuart Mill said: “One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100,000 who have only interests.”

Drat - can't send you another star yet Bianca! Sorry!

Wonderful news that Maharashtra has banned GMOs - at last - but oh such terrible news that more than 250,000 farmers have killed themselves by drinking pesticides (awful, horrible death) or by hanging themselves due to debt caused by GMO crops! Appalling!!!

God bless all those fighting the horrors of GMOs!

Glad to see they are fighting Monsanto, so sad to see all the deaths because of the Monsanto debts. Hoping they can recover soon.

GMO's are very costly in terms of purchasing the seeds and chemicals for Monsanto type products.

GMO's are not worth the costs to farmers everywhere nor are the GMO's worth the damage they cause to
people and the environments.

GMO's are a lose, lose situation. Best if all GMO's are banned everywhere and forever.

Ty, Bianca.

Toni, you're right, things seem to be a bit wonky on the site today. Glad your comment came through.

I couldn't agree with you rmore Jim!!

Someone said to me, "but if the GMO industry disappeared thousands would lose their jobs." The only answer I could think of without getting really rude, was to say that tens of thousands of farmers had lost their livestock, livelihood and their *lives* to GMOs and that I hope that we can start figuring out ways to create jobs (and deal with the myriad problems in our societies) that don't leave people destitute or so desperate that they commit suicide. GMOs are not any kind of solution, they are a complete failure. Saying otherwise doesn't make it so.

Ha! Take that Monsanto. One country at a time. If only America would hurry up, please, with banning GMOs! We can't even get mandatory labeling. Sheesh.

I also agree with Jim. Europe has managed to keep them out. Strength to all battling the path of destruction that Monsanto Death brings...C'mon Americas...do you want a few nasty jobs or nutrition and life?????? We're in deep and are scratchin' our way out. We need a few bulldozers ($ and influence) to move out of this lethal trap.
