Thanks Carole, the more people push the more the truth will see the light.

Plus, don't forget the GAZA FREEDOM MARCH on January 1 2010:

Here's e pledge including where you can sign it:

Endorse the Gaza Freedom March! Sign the Pledge Below!
http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/424/t/9750/petition.jsp?petition_KEY=2055

Israel’s blockade of Gaza is a flagrant violation of international law that has led to mass suffering. The U.S., the European Union, and the rest of the international community are complicit.

The law is clear. The conscience of humankind is shocked. Yet, the siege of Gaza continues. It is time for us to take action! On January 1, 2010, we will mark the New Year by marching alongside the Palestinian people of Gaza in a non-violent demonstration that breaches the illegal blockade.

Our purpose in this March is lifting the siege on Gaza. We demand that Israel end the blockade. We also call upon Egypt to open Gaza’s Rafah border. Palestinians must have freedom to travel for study, work, and much-needed medical treatment and to receive visitors from abroad.

As an international coalition we are not in a position to advocate a specific political solution to this conflict. Yet our faith in our common humanity leads us to call on all parties to respect and uphold international law and fundamental human rights to bring an end to the Israeli military occupation of Palestinian territories since 1967 and pursue a just and lasting peace.

The march can only succeed if it arouses the conscience of humanity.

Please join us.

What's new?...And now we have the Netanyahoo child back in power again spreading his settlements all over the place...When will it ever end?...

Hopefully in the not too distant future...Israel needs to think again, it is not the house of god, it is simply evil...

The leadership of the Zionist government of Israel reminds me so much of the WW2-era Judenrat: collaborationist Jews who worked with the Nazi Regime, turning in fellow Jews and currying favor for themselves. It therefore is NO surprise that these ultrawarmongering and fascistic 'leaders' have done everything possible to keep the World from knowing about all the OTHER people who were genocidally targeted and destroyed in such huge numbers by the Third Reich. I personally relate to a couple of these groups: obviously as an out bi woman I am part of the LGBT Rainbow - which Hitler's murderers did their best to annihilate [while practicing their own little same-sex/secret-dungeon-S&M rituals all the while]. In addition, there are "gypsy" ancestors in my family on my Mother's side - and the Roma/"gypsies" were particularly hated and targeted by the Nazi death machine. But did Israeli 'leadership' want to educate the World about shared suffering? OH NO!! They always play the "victim role" to the hilt and overtly aggress against those who try to clarify the breadth of genocide against ALL those who suffered - most of whom never receive proper honoring let alone compensation and recompense. The USA's economy is so enmeshed with and manipulated by the Zionist/Israeli war machine - check out the expression on Netanyahu's face during his recent sit-down in-person meeting with USA Prez Obama - you can see who's really calling the tune!! Israeli arms dealing is a worldwide obscenity. I myself believe that these Israeli 'leaders' care nothing for their own people - for example, it is a matter of record the rotten treatment that many of the Russian Jewish emigres to Israel received once 'safe' in "their homeland." Meagre starvation food allowances and rotten shelter arrangements have been common for many poor Russian Jews in Israel. There IS a peace movement in Israel - and there has been swift and violent repression of Israeli peace/activists who have courageously worked with Palestinians and other non-Jews, particularly within labor-movement issues and other progressive concerns. The Israeli/Zionist 'leadership' has been happy to beat its own people bloody and throw them into horrible prison limbo, for being peaceful and non-racist regarding Palestinians and other non-Jews.
BRUTALITY IS ALWAYS A PRIMARY SIGN OF NO SPIRITUALITY. Using religion as a cover is the oldest trick in the book for brutal, evil creatures such as the 'leaders' of Israel. All of the real people there, Palestinians and progressive Jews alike, deserve SO MUCH BETTER. AND WE USA TAXPAYERS NEED TO STAND UP TO THIS OBSCENITY - BECAUSE WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.

Ooooooops and armed and funded by the U.S.A. Why is it so?...Money begets money over the dead bodies of others?...Men, women and children who do not count at all?...I care, why does Israel not care?...Not that all Israelis are to blame but too many are?...Who voted Netanyahoo into power knowing full well that the idiot is power crazy and would like the riches of the earth in his pocket?...It's a worry!

Before jumping to conclusions, read the article. Palestinians organization "B'Tselem noted that 248 Palestinian police officers were killed while at their stations, most in surprise air strikes on the first day of the war. The group said it placed them in a separate category — neither combatant nor civilians — because their status could not be determined. The military counted them as combatants." Hamas-trained militants servicing in police and shooting at Israelis at their spare time are not militants? Give me a break.

And another thing: "International human rights groups have said they suspect both sides committed war crimes — Israel by using disproportionate force in crowded Gaza, and Hamas by hiding behind civilians and indiscriminately firing rockets at Israeli towns." When Hamas militants shoot at Israeli Army while surrounded by Palestinian kids for their protection, and some of these kids get hurt, whose fault is that?

Alice B, Russian Jews fare in Israel pretty good: Moshe Dayan, Sharon, Liberman and whole bunch of others made their way to leaders of the country. Israel is a democracy, where people achieve what they can.

Here in the USA - Jewish Voice for Peace:
http://www.jewishvoiceforpeace.org/
They have resource info & press releases, and current articles - they are progressive and anti-war. Check them out.
Dark Chocolate - your are kidding yourself. Last I heard Israel's caste-system "democracy's" 'leadership' is presiding over the largest military budget ever - and it used to be in 80% of the country's budget - so what is it NOW?!!! SOME 'DEMOCRACY' - or are you using that term in the Ancient Greek sense of the term: meaning, no votes for women and slaves!!!!!

For a closer look at what is really happening worldwide, and how Israel is at the epicenter, read 'Enemies by Design', by Greg Felton. The 'war on terror' is not a coincidence... statistically, it is Israel who unilaterally breaks periods of ceasefire with Hamas... if anyone has a motive to fully support a 'war on terror', it would have to be Israel...

Bother Buchan, sure Israel is a democracy. You can ask about that Israeli Arab MK - they often come to different places paid by Israel to say how bad and un-democratic Israel is. At the same time, they will surely not move to many other Arab countries and instead choose to stay in Israel. LOL.

David, you listened to weirdos for too long - go visit Israel and see the truth for yourself. It is very different than crap posted here by paid Arab propagandists hiding behind Western names. Get life man.

The brutality of the Zionist regime was engraved on my heart during the 23 day war earlier this years. Air strikes and tanks against Gaza. Poor Gaza where 50^ of the population is below 16. All supported by the US, of course. This situation is so disgusting and so disgusts me with those pro-Zionist elements in my own Country.
Not so Silent, I just have you a green star and you deserve another but you know Care 2's policy.

Now, you're going a little too far, EC.

The TRUTH is that most mainstream media and US "government speak" is biased on behalf of Israel. That's exactly WHY an article such as this -- which I fully support -- is necessary.

Join Alice Walker, Gore Vidal, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Naomi Klein, Mustafa Barghouti, Diana Buttu in endorsing the historic Gaza Freedom March on Jan. 1, 2010 — a massive nonviolent demonstration that will breach the illegal Israeli blockade.

How wonderful!  These are some of the people I respect most!

Just Carole, vast majority of the Israeli supporters' accounts got deleted, be they nice or less nice. All thais happens while Arab apologists can write any vicious lie they are pleased with. Obviously, Care2 is not impartial in this aspect.

Look at the article: Islamic propagandist NetSilent attached to otherwise decent article a lying picture: Israeli flag and words "Genocide Murderers". This is plain and biased incitement of hate against Israel.

Even in general, the media is far from be pro-Israel. How many editiorials do you see raising questions of Jordan taking Israeli lands at the time it was created? Who raised questions of re-settling Arab refugees in Arab countries? Not many,

If the people you listed were running the march to get Gaza rid off extremism and fanatical hatred, I would come too. The problem is, they won't do it and so I will ignore that gathering, as another obstacle to peace.

As you are not known for truth or credibility pm your fiction re care2 deleting pro israeli accounts should be seen as just that..fiction. However you seem to make a "living?"out of smearing and insulting anyone who posts re the Palestinians side of the news. And lately even promoting the further ethnic cleansing of Palestians by suggesting they get out and go away to other Arab countries! Get a proper job you have no shame.
No one can match you lot on propaganda, lies and deception, its your 3 meals of the day. You write your own version of history but the Apartheid NOW speaks loud and clear to all those who abhor such cruelty and arrogance. The Fanatical hatred towards Palestinians demonstrated to all who could bare to watch at Xmas. (Probably excluding the US media of course)Will not be forgotten no matter how many they pay.

So agreed, Elderberry.

If I wanted to keep hearing lies, I'd tune in to Faux News.

It's astonishing to me that anyone "Pro Israel" can pretend to be a victim, with so much (unwarranted) support from so many governments . . . even to the point that we must BEG the media to stop being unbiased.

Here's something (found on http://wake-up-america.net) for those defending Israel to read, research and verify on their own and then think about.........seriously think about before they spout their standard statements:

From: action-for-un-renewal.org.uk

A list of UN Resolutions against "Israel"

Here is a list of UN resolutions that Israel has not complied. As far as I know they have ignored every single resolution. With an annual stipend going to Israel every year for weapons to be used against Palestine, it's a shame that Israel can't rebuild some of the homes of the Palestinians they've bulldozed... for every single Israeli life taken in the conflict, there are 100 Palestinians massacred... more than 40 school children massacred with GC4 banned WP (more than 400 total)... and the world is supposed to believe that Israel is not carrying out a deliberate genocide campaign... yet, pro-Israeli sentiments abound with complete DENIAL of the Israeli murder machine, rooted in some mystical, self-righteous, self-serving entitlement...

Thank you NotSilent

Netanyahu could care less about his "own people" - he is a power-mad fascist and he and the other Judenrat-style "leadership" are happy to repress any progressive Jews in and outside of Israel all for the sake of control and oppressive power. He and other fascist/Zionist thugs in the "leadership" of Israel are addicted to warmongering, arms dealing, robbing from the disadvantaged, and ripping off every single Palestinian he can. He is a DISGRACE. He keeps getting fattter - soon he'll be gigantic like Sharon was - a gigantic ball of fat and fury, signifying nothing but HATE. AND HE'S GOT OUR GOVERNMENT'S MILITARY AT HIS SERVICE - AND WE'RE PAYING HIM TO EXPLOIT US ALL. TIME TO CUT HIM OFF FROM HIS FREE RIDE ON THE USA TAX DOLLAR.

Alice - talking free tax dollars: do you know how many benefits Israel provides to US for the US Aid? The onlly safe port for US fleet is Haifa. None of the Arab countries - who get 3-4 TIMES MORE AID THAT Israel features it.

Israel dropped defence contracts worth tens of billions of $$ under pressure from Pentagon, who pushed his own projects. It's easy to lose an important and loyal ally, that to gain it. Obama should think twice pressuring Israel on one house here and there - that's just stupid and fruitless.

"NetSilent"...You are good for a laugh my trollish 'past member' but good for little else...turn on your spellchecker, and your brain, and welcome to the real world...Israel is a killer of many, a friend of none!

Oh David, on behalf of the Past Member, I corrected his post and here it comes with the correct spelling as you requested. Enjoy to you full, when you are not with the queen.

"Just Carole, vast majority of the Israeli supporters' accounts got deleted, be they nice or less nice. All this happens while Arab apologists can write any vicious lie they are pleased with. Obviously, Care2 is not impartial in this aspect.

Look at the article: Islamic propagandist NotSilent attached to otherwise decent article a lying picture: Israeli flag and words "Genocide Murderers". This is plain and biased incitement of hate against Israel.

Even in general, the media is far from being pro-Israel. How many editorials do you see raising questions of Jordan taking Israeli lands at the time it was created? Who raised questions of re-settling Arab refugees in Arab countries? Not many at all!

If the people you listed were running the march to get Gaza rid off extremism and fanatical hatred, I would come too. The problem is, they won't do it and so I will ignore that gathering, as another obstacle to peace."

War is a sad reality for us all, and we must remember that no one wins in a war... it is sad for both parties on both sides, and we must remember we are all people, all the same, nothing different so lets not point fingers but make a positive contribution to bring peace instead of more racial hatred to the world... God says blessed are the peace makers for they shall inherit the kingdom of God.... Love covereth a multitude of sin... hatred brings murder and death so lets not sown seeds of hate but of love and all things good, then this world will be a better place for us all...

Chaz, among killed militants, there were over 50 bomb and explosive experts, hiding among civilians. Don't you think the world is much better without them? I do, and think the world is a safer place not only for Israel.

Countries control the media that pumps us full of fear, brainwashing us and programming us to accept the murder machine... the machine that minces innocent civilians into ground beef and spits out money. Wars are always fought for profit, all through history... our masters are pleased... lest we stray or question, all they have to do is throw us another crumb of fear, and we run and hide screaming bloody murder in righteous indignation...
