years ago, i used snopes to figure out if the practice was widespread and it said it had occurred only on the french island and had been dealt with by authorities. now i read about florida and am shocked that we actually have to revisit this insanity. let's hope the petition and outrage lead to swift justice.

I find it strange that Change.org does NOT list the target anymore on their new website, I had to check all 4 points on top and read the text to see who is being addressed.

Petition signed. I have come to know much cruelty all of which leaves me feeling emotionally crippled. I saw the picture first thing this morning and I have been feeling out of sorts all day. I am forwarding it to my personal contacts for more signatures. There must be a way we can stop these deranged people. Only mental illness could explain such hideous acts.
