Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester sentenced Evita Williams earlier this week to five years in prison for the violent beating of her in-laws' 14-year-old dog. Williams was convicted in July of beating the Labrador retriever mix named Ginger.

The dog is the never-grown child of the wolf, who loves for a lifetime.

Remember that every dog came from a family which would have treasured it, but for theft from their birthright.

Perhaps you will then give all the love you can, for that is less than they have for one another.
