A new species of tree frog discovered in the high-altitude forests of northern Vietnam has a complex call that makes it sound more like a bird than a typical frog.

With all the news of species disappearing, it's great to find a new one -- and it's a cutie! (I like frogs).

Thanks, Dianne.

What great news! A frog that sounds more like a bird than a typical frog. How amazing is evolution and all the incredible species that live on our great planet. It is just too bad that we don't treasure these miracles of life as much as we value material goods. I hope that we treat this new species better than we've treated so many others! This little frog is a true blessing...thanks Dianne for this hopeful story.

Thank you! I feel so badly that we bombed this sensitive environment for so many years.
