The dog, ID#2013-02-067, has previously been featured in this column. Though her story was shared over 1,000 times, nobody has inquired about her; not one person, not one rescue, nobody.

Is she not pretty enough? Young enough? Happy enough? What is behind the sad lack of interest?

Why is there not one single person who is willing to take a chance on this one defeated dog?

FINAL CALL for this sweet girl! She has $300 in pledges to rescue. She has not been outside her kennel in 4 months :(. She is sweet, loving, and calm. Please share for her life....she has waited so long.

Four months inside of a kennel run.

Four months of being walked by and ignored.

Four months without a special person.

Four months without running or playing.

Four months without love.

The photos show the toll that the four months have taken on this sweet girl. Her eyes are sad and she appears to have lost hope.

Final call - please, at the very least, share her information and say a prayer.

Poor thing. It's these animals that always seem the most grateful with so much love to give.

She is so beautiful - its heartbreaking to see the look in her eyes and I can only imagine what sadness she must be feeling. I am elated that an animal angel has opened their hearts to take this precious animal into their home - may they be blessed for their compassion. May this beautiful animal bring them much joy and happiness. I hope she lives the life of a queen, smothered in hugs and kisses.

I was crying when I saw her picture and read her story - but now I am smiling. I hope it is true that she has found a new home, and I hope and pray that it is THE home for her and that she will have a long and happy life with her new owner(s).

It sounds like this dog has found her forever home...I sure hope it is true. I have a rescue dog myself that was on death row. They know it; and they become the most devoted of friends. It is too bad that those who insist on purebred dogs or those who buy from people selling puppies for profit, don't visit a shelter. An emotional ordeal to be certain, but you do what you can.
