My cat inspires me to be lazy... And constantly teaches me that he should be fed every half hour.

I truly believe people that love animals or live with them are better people (of course there are exceptions)

My cats showed me unconditional love but unfortunately made me angry; well, not really, but Kirby tried my patience. We had a cat in the nneighborhood named 'Mama' because she was always getting pregnant. God love her, she had a flat tail and was scared to death of people but would come right inside the apartment-when the weather was warm, I left my front door open-and while my cats were minding their own business eating their dinner, 'Mama' would bully her way in and hiss at my cats until they backed away from their food and let her have her fill. I cannot remember one time when 'Mama' drank any water to wash her food down. Needless to say, 'Mama' taught us patience.

They are so calming and not much in a hurry except when they want their food or treats.Oh We agee they do teach you patience, when you talk to them you see a blink and turn their heads like well maybe I think about it and get back to you! No hurry!! Thank You Zora for the lovely article!

the bond i have w/my cats is unbreakable. they bring me peace of mind. i can just sit w/them in silence & leave the rest world at the door. we don't need words to understand each other. it's comforting to know my cats love & accept me unconditionally, as i do them.
