One massive oil spill after another. You would hope that these events would be an incentive to move away from fossil fuels, but our government is oblivious to realilty. Russia is even worse, which is really frightening, since they have a lot of the oil.

They always PROMISE that they have the technology in place to control any disaster that might occur from an accidental oil spill ... but they don't live up to their promises; how much longer until we all realize that their profits are more important to them than human beings or animals of any kind and/or the environment.

Make them pay; hold them accountable; make them clean up their messes, even if it takes years.
