What to do - What To Do? We in the U.S. are smitten with developing any where and everywhere there is $ to be made. The influence we have in our own country is mostly localized because Big Businesses and the Governments that support ALL aspects of developing have the final say most, definetly when resources of Any kind are to be exploited for more short-term $$$ to fill many pockets for many supposed justifiable(?) eg.(growing economy, big $ for mineral resources, pay for wars etc.. Most, if not all countries, have the same motivations for development as ours. Our own Watchdogs/humans, supposedly are to prevent destruction BY Developers who exist in all sorts and sizes, have been primarily ham-strung, wrist strung, ankle strung, policically strung & blinded with promises of short-term gains. To say our Watchers are ineffectual is a gross understatement. Who has appointed the new Director of the EPA? Who IS the new Director of the EPA, whose interests does he base his decisions on? Who is OUR administrative environmental/coastal overseer/boss/watch person? Who are Oman's environmental overseers if any? Find out the answers and cry more tears for the Earth. Noted.
