Does she have to be dead in order ot bring that puppy home? The military has already allowed dogs that were companions to soldiers who were killed to be transported to the USA to live their lives out with the families of those soldies.

Is this how we treat are soldiers? This women is risking her life by coming to Iraq in the cause of freedom. The Defense Dept should her keep the dog.
It's the least they can do considering this soldier's selfless sacrifice.

Blue Bunting, you are right. Pups/dogs have already been sent home many times from Iraq.

I signed the petition for this and sent letters. They need to let her bring her dog home. I am so happy Ratchet is still alive.

I hope it works out. Why is it such a problem to let her have the dog?

Thank goodness he is alive! This is ridiculous! Where is the compassion? Some of the higher ups have none! Let this lady that has served her country well, have her pup! What is wrong with these people! They have let other soldiers bring home their dogs and the public has paid for the flight and everything! What gives??? Thank you, Jacqueline, noted! I will contribute!
Abolish Animal Slaughter!

I, too, am elated Ratchet is alive. Now let's see what's important to those "in charge": the "rules" or a living being ?
