So sad that more and more animals suffer and that people who are effected by the downturn in the world economy will not even try to find alternatives and use it as an excuse for abuse.

Thanks Jacqueline
How awful...I despair of the ignorance and lack of compassion of people like that farmer.
Today's C2 quote: "For the fate of the sons of men and the fate of the beasts is the same; as one dies, so dies the other; they all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts; for all is vanity. All go to one place; all are from dust, and all turn to dust again." - Ecclesiastes, 3:19-20.

This is terrible. Yet another story of animal abuse. I hope they throw the book at this person and make him pay for what he did to these sheep. R.I.P you beautiful creatures.

This is another case for registration of animal owners (carers).
Any one in charge of the welfare of any animal or bird should have to have a licence. I know this would be difficult to police but something has to happen and this is the only thing I can see that may help. Sheep are feeling, knowing creatures. I personaly have had a lot to do with sheep and love them. They are realy quite smart even though a lot of mere humans say that they are stupid. They react out of fear and can look rather silly but in my dealings with them I think they are pretty smart.

Thank you Jacqueline. About time a farmer was charged with cruelty for ther actions and crimes against sheep. You are so right Glenys, sheep are sensitive, loving souls, and they are very smart- my pets were very clever, especially my dear Angie, who I lost a few months back- I miss her terribly.

Right Simone, it's about time! These dear hearts have no way of feeding themselves! What part of those words do these idiots not understand?!?! They should never be allowed to be around animals again! Or they must be made to stay in a room with Sarah Palin for one year!!!! Thank you dear Jacqueline! Noted!
