Malaysia: The Word

Society & Culture  (tags: Malaysia, Islam, Allah )

Malaysia's appellate court ruled on Oct 14 that Malay-speaking non-Muslims,may not use the word "Allah." "The term 'Allah' must be exclusive to Islam or it could cause public disorder," Other religions have been using the word for hundreds of years.

The title should read: Malaysia: The Word "Allah" Only For Muslims

I see no reason for the Catholics to use the word Allah. If it makes Muslims mad then really don't use the word. There is enough trouble so shy make waves.

I have heard that this rule is being applied in other Muslims countries as well. As nut-kabob a thing it is, maybe it's a heaven-sent blessing in that it will differentiate much more sharply between the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the god of Abraham, Ishmael and Muhammad, who many suspect is actually Satan.

Thus, this may be a way to draw another clear distinction -- as if there weren't enough already there, based on the tremendous number of violent hateful verses in the Qur'an and Hadiths -- from the more peaceful religions that abide by the Golden Rule.

It is also one more of myriads of examples of the arrogance and supremacism inherent in Islam.

The Qur'an tells us that Muslims and Arabs are the best of men. Non-Muslims are the equivalent of dogs.

It is common theme in Islam to go out of its way to encourage its followers to debase the beliefs of non-Muslims as well as the people themselves. That's why there are so many verses equating non-Muslims with dogs, pigs and apes.

To me though, this type of thing actually debases Muslims themselves as being the most hateful, spiteful, vindictive, violent people on the earth, and proud of it, too

Gloria, who I'm sure is a good person, however plays the role of "dhimmi", in which identifying element is "don't do anything to make the Muslims mad." Historically, this is the way to give Muslim much more power, just give in, let them have their way, and watch freedom, human dignity, human rights, democracy die.

Appeasement to Islam is a policy of failure, weakness. Islam recognizes those who appease as weak and contemptible and as a sign that Muslims DESERVE to rule over everyone. Gloria's mentality, like that of Chamberlain, is what helped to give rise to Hitler and the Nazis. With such an attitude she might have blended in well working with the Vichy French government.

We need more backbone here in the West, not an attitude like this, or the West is lost.... to the darkness of Islam. And Gloria could very well be stabbed for going shopping without a male relative chaperone, as karma tends to work.

I, being a Christian, only believe in one God.

It is my guess that the Jewish God had already established Judaism by 3000 BC. And, Christianity was established around 2000 years ago. The Jews and Christians already had a shared-God before Islam came into to being.

Actually, around 630 AD Islam was founded by Mohammad.

To be quite honest, I can assure you that we, the Jews and Gentiles, will not be offended—not one bit—if we cannot say or write that name.
