She sent her 3-year-old son named "Jihad" to nursery school wearing a top bearing the words "I am a bomb" & "Born on the 11 September". His name, Jihad, means war with non-Muslims. She's been charged with supporting a terrorist act

She should have been charged with child abuse. What kind of sick mother would name a child 'Jihad' which is what Muslims are commanded to do against all non-Muslims - to do violence, let alone put such a hateful shirt on a child? The child should be put in foster care with people who are more civilised. She is only raising one more hate-crazed Orthodox Muslim. We've already got way too many of those.

In Canada; this kind of ideological insanity is winked at... but parents LOOSE their kids often for nothing in conparison.. often unfairly...and occasionaly for expressing sympathies unacceptable to most or even a few.
Apprehend the child and deport these beasts.

This is part of the brainwahsing that all Muslims receive. If you are taught to hate then that is what you do!

The truth is that many Muslims are very proud and righteously satisfied with terrorism against the non-Muslims. A tee-shirt with such a message just tells you how deeply the belief in destruction of non-Muslims and the supremacy of Islam is. Make not mistakes about it. This is just the beginning.

muslims are a danger to every country. they leave their home land saying they want a better life. they get to a country that welcomes them and then they want to change that place into what they just left. leave them to rot in their homelands away from others. they can't be trusted.
that woman is sick and needs to be sent back. take the kid first and make sure his name is changed and he doesn't stay muslim.

When you have mothers who treat their children like this - regardless of religion - why aren't they removed by the = so called Authorities.

Marc H. The french authorities are probably afraid of being bombed.
But, surely the woman should be jailed or sent back where she came
from without the child.
These people are brainwashed from birth to hate.

Margaret, you don't need to argue with people on any subject just because you have other disagreements.

Educating children to hate and to cheer up murderers is a practice, incompatible with Western civilization.

Perhaps those comments or reports were posted after I put in my comments.

Anyway, I would not leave a cat much less a child in the care of one of these
nut cases ever!
What I wrote was an opinion & I'm sure no it will not change an iota one of
these murderous nuts. or the coarse of history.

Free.....I agree on the gun culture 100%.
And, many people misread or have a totally
different viewpoint than you or others.
Man/humans as a whole are more dangerous
than any wild animal could be.
I'm certain if man/humans were a bit more
dumber man would be a whole loe smarter
and safer in the long run.

The world needs to let these crackpot
far easterners just kill themselves off
and not allow them into our country
for any reason.

However, I have known a family of
this nationallity & they were the nicest
people I've ever known. Indeed they were
an exception to the rule.

So much for all of that.

Teaching your children to hate ANYBODY is the worst kinds of child abuse perpetuated by Qur'anic verses. Unlike other major religions, it is Islam ITSELF that is incompatible with the US Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Sharia is unsuitable for human consumption and belongs to a dung heap of history, just as Nazism, Marxism and Fascism do.

It is really unfortunate that some on this board who still promote this ideology of hate of Islam are too lazy to read Qur'an, and Hadith and learn about the history of Islam and Mohamed who was a pedophile, polygamist, rapist and murderer who in any sane society would be tried for his crimes and not adored by some 1,600 millions of Muslims around the world. Islam MUST REFORM and not be appeased in its vile teachings, as Barack Hussein Obama is doing by subverting US Constitution in order to cover up the vile teachings of of hate. .

Free.......I feel damned lucky to be here in a country where I more or less can express mt thoughts without fear of getting my head cuut off. Or, on the flip side being a child/teen living in fear living here that I can not date, dress or marry anyone of my choice for fear of my Islamic parents may kill me for it.

In essence one almost has more freedom in China or Russia than they have in their own land. These Islamic crackpots can have all the heavenly whores they want but I prefer to believe or not to believe as a free thinking individual in America. The people you speak of live in more fear of their own here or in a Islamic country than they ever will fear from us here.
Their religious ignorance is astounding..........And yes of course America does have its' own home grown nut cases such as the mass killing up in Connecticut. In short there are all kinds of nutcases religious or non religious all over the globe. Each of us are trying our best to protect our own & at the same time live free if possible.

In a hundred years from now no one will give a dam what either one of us belive in But we all want to live to see the world be a better place for our grandchildren to live free without being brain washed by our parents such as what is done in Islamic countries & and those who live here.

Margaret, you are indeed living in a country with the Catholic origin, and its tolerant culture allows you to express your opinion freely.

You know full well, that you could not express your opinion freely in pretty much ALL of the Muslim countries. Leaving aside your comments about your community - I think your opinion is biased as usual - Muslim kids were involved in too many hate cirmes or just violent behavior in many countries, especially against the Jews. You could read about daily attacks perpetrated against Jews in France by the Arab youth, Margaret, if you wanted to read about this, or could find honesty to acknowledge the fact.

Don't start playing your usual game of blaming everyone in "Islamophobia", this trick is old, tired and not impressive anymore. Just ask yourself: what type of Islam I agree to live with.

With Islam where women are not allowed to go to school or work, where music and dances are forbidden, where gays have to be killed, when dhimmies like me have to pay juzziya, when able men have to go for Jihad and Ribat? Or, some sort of a moderate Muslim teaching without that hate?

And when you decide which side you are on, the other side will call you Islamophobic, they will. But at least you will acknowledge what you are staying for.

See, Margaret, A.k.a Free G:

You saw this article, did you? It is here, on Care2. It is even popular, so it's easy to find it. About a boy, whose face wsa difigured becaused Islamists threw acid at him:
http://www.care2.com/news/member/296771588/3500219

You didn't note that article, and neither did any of the Islamist PR colleagues. Why? Do you approve their behavior? Do you think Ex-Muslims have to be killed, as Koran dictates? What does the community which your described so beautifully does to help victims of Islamic hate?

Anyone, arguing with Margaret Mayer, alias Free G, MM, (0) et al, is like trying to herd cats. Don't bother. Best to ignore her. We were amazed to hear her actually condemn this poor little kid being named Jihad! Normally she would have ignored this and defended this woman. Hmmm. That's progress :)

I see that MM has set up Hitler as her new idol, what surprise, Husseini's friend and Adolph taught his much of that which Husseini practiced.

As for being brainwashed, MM has been by the Muslim propaganda and ignores their school text books, the films, the books, the kiddy shows etc.

I fully agree with Free, naming a child (or even a pet) with a name that is foul hate language should be a crime. Adolf Hitler,Jihad etc... any name that implies a political or ideological view of hate by a parent should be but rarely is reason, to remove (and legally rename) that child from parental custody. There is something deeply wrong with this mother. I would feel the same if a parent named their child after any symbol of hate, for that child it automatically creates a target for bullying and torment by others.

Calm down Gillian, you sound as crazed at the woman that this article is about.

Because someone believes honestly and fully in human rights for all humans - no matter where they live, should be respected. Instead, it is often turned into a hate campaign against those people. Don't pretend to care about the topic of the article and then use that for your campaign against another, that too is nothing more than continued propagation of more hate rhetoric.

"I read no where that this mom is set for trial...." What about reading just the title, "Mum set for trial after sending son named ‘jihad’ to nursery with ‘I am a bomb’ jumper" .... For goodness sake people, this article is about a woman that has some crossed wiring in her thinking, do you really think that not reading the article and just blathering about your own sense of hate toward 1.5 billion people will accomplish any thing positive?

It's not just "small countries" that have lunatics that name their babies for icons of hate, it happens all over the world and I commend the author of the article for his detailed, if abbreviated, explanation of the facts.

From the article:
"Thierry Lagneau, the mayor of the southern French town of Sorgues, said: “We fully support charges being brought against this woman for provoking hatred and terrorism in one of our schools.

“This was an utterly irrespoinsible act by the boy’s mother, who used their son to promote a violent political belief of her own.”

The divorced mother said the jumper was a gift to her from the boy’s uncle and has insisted the message on the top was not meant to be provocative.

She also told police her son’s genuine birthdate was September 11, 2009.

The 32-year-old woman will appear in court in Avignon on December 19, when she faces a suspended prison sentence and fine of up to 800 pounds."
*****

+++Apparently some find it inconvenient to read the article (as short as it was) before spewing forth the exact same hate that the article condemns.

It happens all the time Bette, don't be concerned about an error in your reaction. I do think that at this moment we are all a bit sensitive to any thing that happens to children. For those of us who have lost children the deaths in Connecticut have re-opened wounds and our reactions may be even more sharp and reactive.

I'm please this mother must face a judge and her total lack of judgement should be questioned. I don't know enough about this woman or the case being brought to make a any condemnations against her personally, I doubt that from the information any of us know enough to do that. I can only state that I do believe that to use a name of any icon of hate is a cruel thing for any parent, to do no matter their origin, racial or religious background that should be unacceptable to all rational people.

Thank you Rob and Jay for sharing this sad bit of information.

Free Margaret and Kit, I've seen so many Islamists pretending to be Jews or Christians, as to avoid accusations of being anti-Semitic and anti-Christian.

You can repeat your claims as much as you want, but all the Jews I met care about Jerusalem or about Israel's safety. I didn't meet people from Arab-run anti-Israel advocacy groups, but they are paid PR specialists, they don't count.

Alexander Werner (53)

I think, Margaret, than any decent human being would at least note an article about a Christian, whose face was disfigured by hateful people, punishing him for changing the "religion of peace" to something else.

Check your count.

Alexander Werner (53)

Free Margaret,

Noting an article is not a big thing, but NOT noting certain articles and noting others on a consistent basis tells about the poster.

What about non-Christians? I note articles informing people about tortures heaped on other people as well, be they Jews, Tibetians or Muslims. You can easily see those articles.

Only most hard-core Islamists, having no pity to anyone outside of those sharing their hate for infidels, would ignore such horrible abuses of others and instead would bring up anything else to divert attention.

Alexander Werner (53)
Wednesday December 19, 2012, 6:37 pm
Margaret, you never forget to note articles stirring hate, whey they are posting by Islamists. You find time within you "10 minutes" to do just that.

But when time comes to other articles, like a boy with a face difigured by Islamists, you became very busy again. This is like the Arab League: they have time and unity only to blame Israel. No matter, what other countries do and don't do. They also suddenly become very busy.

Yeah, I guess you need to visit quite a few sites.
