He urged a boycott of America and labeled Jews 'apes & pigs' on Egyptian TV & called on Egyptians to 'nurse our children & our grandchildren on hatred' for Jews & Zionists'. He despises the US, Israel & Jews in General. The US backed his election

I still can't understand why Obama backed his election. He is much worse than Mubarak!

And the West is sending more weapons to these Jihadists? No mention in these articles of the ethnic cleansing going on right now there by these bigots of the original Egyptians, the Coptic Christians, who Morsi said before the election he wanted to force to convert to Islam or drive out. Where is the bloody media in reporting all of this hate?

The Forbes article is very interesting in that it makes it clear how little Islamist hate is published in the mainstream media and singles out the New York Times for its cowardice in reporting Islamist news. As the head of the BBC said, the media give the soft glove treatment to Islam and Muslims out of fear of the violence and assassinations of journalists that would occur if they 'offend' them. What?

Islam has made it clear it is at war against us and all we hold dear and these cretins are infiltrating every western nation and threatening our freedoms and the media and our gutless leaders pander to these hate mongers. Would they be so welcoming and appeasing to any other enemies trying to destroy us? Well, they did the same thing with Hitler and the Nazis. They never learn and we'll all suffer for their stupidity.

This piece of human compost would never have been elected if the West had shown a modicum of nous.
As I said on another thread I wouldn't be at all surprised if a civil war broke out in Egypt.

Many ask "why does Obama support the MB government " Maybe the answer to that question lies in the fact that most people are drawn to others that share similar philosophies, ideologies, hopes and aspirations.

Giana,

Barack Hussein:
* gave influential positions in his administration to at least six people from Muslim Brotherhood.
* bowed down to Saudi king;
* let the whole Middle East to fall into Sunni hands.

When you ask "Why Morsi", you should ask "Why anything else of that".

careful what you wish for america, cause now you've got it! jew-hatin' morsi is in power because obama handed him egypt. and 1.4 unconditional us tax dollars, oh, and lets throw in some tanks and f-16s, too. and when they end up bombing something of ours with 'em, maybe kerry will follow clinton's lead and say what difference does it make.

i'm not too het up about the boycotting america thing though. americans have been boycotting america for years, refusing to buy anything not made in china. since america's already boycotting itself you can't really fault him for that.

Interesting to see similarity between rhetoric from well-recognized anti-Semite, extremist and Islamist Morsi and Islamist Apologists here on Care2, hiding behind English-sound names, sometimes claiming to be Jewish themselves.

One campaign, one leader, one umma, one caliphate to build...

Obama hears what he wants to hear, and does as he wants. Growing up as a Muslim he has idolized the faith and bought into anti-Semitism himself, but he's shrewd enough to have surrounded himself with Jews in his first presidency to throw off the scent.

Thank you, Rob and Jay, I hadn't even heard this. Scary and nauseating.

"His words are reflective of his contempt for Jews, The United States, and the State of Israel. Dr. Morsi joined the Muslim Brotherhood while living in the United States."

I don't know this but suspect that people in power here who endorsed him did so because he was educated here and they thought would be more moderate than he has turned out to be. Personally, knowing he was part of the Brotherhood is enough for me to know he is no friend of ours. Recall too that last fall, President Obama said, in response to a question, that he did not know at that point if Egypt was an ally or not. I think we all know by this time that is most definitely a not. I can't think of a reason we would be giving Egypt anything but food at this point. They are not the nation they were in previous years, not a voice of reason in the middle east and as dangerous as any other islamic country in that region. I don't know what is to become of that country but it doesn't seem to me that we need have any role in propping that man or his government up. Let them sort it out, on their own, we've better things to do with our money and our time.

Hey Morsi, Rupert Murdoch is NOT Jewish! Posters here on Care2: Obama is NOT MUSLIM!!! We need to get him to step up to the plate and speak more effectively about the Wahabist threat, SPECIFICALLY. Of course if the opposition would ever remove the thumbscrews that have kept him mired in the budget debacle....

oh, sorry, i meant 1.4 billion unconditional US taxpayer dollars.

and egypt WAS our ally, before obama f**ked things up. and yeah, qaddafi was a bastard, but he wasn't causing us problems at the moment, but now the ikhwan is in libya, too. all this arab spring bs is the death of human rights (and quite a few humans also) and america, that is obama, is either complicit in the betrayal, or was played like a violin. more and more i think its deliberate. he's not that dumb, could he be? maybe he's bucking for caliph the way clinton's bucking for 2016. of course if he pulls off the caliph thing we won't likely HAVE an election in 2016......

bend over america!

Now the wreck that is Egypt is headed for a new conflict and a possible civil war. The Muslim Brotherhood has always been the source of treachery and an agenda of hate towards the Christian Copts and Jews who reside there and elsewhere.I find nothing surprising b the views that Mr. Morsi holds; indeed it would be shocking if this weren't so. Remember too, the Muslim Brotherhood was allied with the Nazis in World War II

I was not so much that Obama backed Morsi it was that he was the best of a bad lot. Obama had no say in the situation for Mubarak. He was overthrown.

The latest is there is a civil war brewing in Egypt and demonstrations are taking place even as we speak. It looks like the army is going to take over. Not a bad thing given they do not like the MB and are being shot at by Hamas and friends.

Syria is coming apart with over 60,000 dead and the Islamic extremists look like they may have access to the chemical weapons stores. Things do not look good. There is Syrian shelling and rockets fired at Palestinians in Lebanon and Jordan as well as refugee centers in Turkey. There is a push by Palestinians to take over Jordan. So it is about the shakiest time for the ME as there has been. It is hard to know who the players are with out a program.

Ira, Obama had a say about Mubarak, he gives Egypt 1.5 Billion Bucks. This money bring food to otherwise starving Egyptians. The standard of living in Egypt is well below Gaza.

Obama showed that he, or US in his face, does NOT value loyalty. Showing it in Arab world is very bad, because that whole world is built on loyalty to your kin.

Morsi was not the "best of a bad lot", because there was no lot. The only group in Egypt well organized to win the elections was MB. Obama should off know it better, when he OK-ed early elections in a situation where democracy-oriented parties simply did not have chance to form, get known and get members.

Obama is too clever to do such "blunders". I think this was done by design.

These guys are either incredibly stupid or incredibly naive. I believe that Obama was told to support Morsi's election. There is an alternative agenda at work underneath the media created freedom of the Arab Spring.

Once again, you can't argue with stupid, or with blind and stupid.

Mitchell, Obama readily agreed to dump Mubarak, who was American ally for many years. That was well known.

Everyone knows that in order to win election, a party has to be formed, donors found, activists filtered and program written. In Egypt, only one party like that was in existence: Muslim Brotherhood. When Obama agreed on early elections, in essence he signed the ticket for the winner.

And he likes him enough to gift him with several F16, free of charge.

CORRECTION:
The Koran speaks well of the Jews and the Christians in its beginning sections and verses. When the Jews did not support Muhammad in a specific situation, then, and only then, did Muhammad begin writing wicked, evil verses against the Jews!!!

Anyone who has read the Koran just once can clarify this truth!
