Why is it that Muslims rant daily about legitimate criticism of all the many verses of hate in their scriptures against Jews, Christians, 'pagans' (Buddhists, Hindus, Jains etc) and the commands to kill those who criticize or leave Islam, gays, rape victims and most non-Muslims, yet they arrogantly demand the special right to preach this hatred against all the above????

They want to silence all questioning or criticism of Islam, Mohammed and their scriptures of hate, but demand to continue preaching hate against all others.

It's so rare to hear of any western leader, media or institution that dares to stand up to Islamic bigotry and arrogance so this University's stand against bigotry is gratifying, indeed. Maybe more universities etc will get the courage to do the same. But don't hold your breath, imams are preaching hate and intolerance all over the western world's universities in Saudi funded courses on Islam and in 'prayer rooms' and not a thing is done about it, but try to speak out against the hate and bigotry in Islamic teachings and you'll find yourself in deep trouble and be branded as a 'bigot', 'racist' (as if Islam is a race) and, of course, the corny 'islamophobe'.

Islam uses freedom to destroy freedom, and it uses our tolerance to spread its intolerance. This has gone too far.

Where is the outrage?

Actually Carola it's you who are displaying bigotry. You are lumping all Muslims into one category when clearly they are as diverse as Christians. If I were to post an article about hate speech by Christian ministers a normal person would say that those were just some Christians. But a bigot like you would say something like "Why do Christians rant..." And try reading the Bible. Muslims aren't the only ones with verses of hate.

Well, Bill K, your comments are typical of someone who doesn't have a clue about what he is talking about, and people like you, here on Care2, frequently have articles condemning so-called Christians for their intolerance and bigotry, yet you and those like you never think that is 'bigotry' do you? Only if Islamic hate and intolerance are criticized. Right? What a hypocrite!

If you knew anything about the subject maybe you wouldn't be so quick to defend the most hateful religion on earth that calls for the killing of those who criticize or leave it, gay people, rape victims and all non-Muslims. Islam is the only religion that does NOT teach the Golden Rule, except for fellow Muslims, their required 'charitable' giving, Zakat, is forbidden to ever be given to non-Muslims and part of it must go to those fighting Jihad - war against non-Muslims. Are you defending this? You think criticizing this hate is 'bigotry'? You have a very warped view of 'bigotry' then.

There is a big difference. Jesus taught nonviolence, love of even enemies, turn the other cheek, forgiveness and never said a word against gay people, he never raped captive women, owned slaves and sex slaves, raided and robbed those around him, 'married' and raped a 6 y/o little girl, owned a harem of sex slaves, had hundreds murdered for not following him, lied and preached hate and violence against everyone who wasn't his follower - Mohammed did/said all of these things.

Please, since you are such an expert on these religion founders, tell us all where Jesus, in the Gospels, ever said any sort of hate toward anyone or preached hatred and killing of other religions' followers, as Mohammed did. Jesus never did, nor did he ever commit any of these acts of hate, as Mohammed did.

The qur'an alone has 109 verses of hate against all non-Muslims, some demanding they be killed. The Sunnah, Mohammed's life, teachings and actions, have even more hate and violence - all of which no Muslim will ever condemn or criticize, but make elaborate excuses for. The Islamic trilogy has more hatred toward Jews than all of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf'. And you call me a 'bigot' for criticizing this?!

Are you saying these sermons of hate and calling for the killing of those who leave this religion of peace and tolerance are OK? Are you defending them? Would you condemn them if they were by a non-Muslims about Muslims? Of course you would, but only when Muslims are the victims. Hypocrite.

Ask your good Muslim friends, as I have asked the ones here on Care2, if they renounce these killings I mention above that their beloved debauched prophet commanded, and you'll find how moderate they really are. Very few Muslims support reforming Islam and throwing out all the hate.

No Muslim here on Care2 has ever renounce those murders, all the while telling us they are all about peace and tolerance (but never telling us that in Islam that means those things will exist only when all non-Muslims have submitted to Islam's rule and accepted their inferior status - are you also defending this?)

Your incredible ignorance should embarrass you. Read the Gospels, then read the Qur'an, hadith (at least Bukhari) and sirah - all online - as I have. Then maybe you will be able to spew your hate on me with something intelligent to back you up.

Jay S (116)

Carola, just ignore Bill K, his comment belies his ignorance. You notice he doesn't condemn the 'bigotry' of the hate sermons and those Muslims who are demanding the 'right' to have them. Of course there are Muslims who aren't that religious (fortunately for us all), most Muslims have never even read the Qur'an, let alone the Sunnah and have no idea what it all really teaches, and many Muslims are here in the West who have fled here to escape the oppression and bigotry of Muslim ruled countries (thousands of whom must still live in fear of being killed here for leaving Islam - surely even you, Bill, would condemn that Islamic bigotry?).

BUT you can not be a Muslim and deny or want to change even one word of the Qur'an as that is apostasy and death since Islam teaches that every word of the Qur'an is from their deity Allah and is true for all time, despite the fact that the Qur'an is not written in chronological order and much has been changed and lost. So it is a rare Muslims who dares renounce any of the hate Islam spews.

People just like Bill K, Carola, also condemned Churchill and called him a bigot for criticizing the hate speech and actions of Hitler and the Nazis, and warning of their danger. Today these appeasing Chamberlains are defending the indefensible hate of Islam, but they are the same blind people who will be proven wrong in the end.

"Three years ago, the Quilliam Foundation think tank said in a report that extremist views were being taught at sermons, with one speaker reported as saying: “The Islamic state tells us and teaches us to kill the apostate [someone who has given up religion].”

Dr Usama Hasan, from the Quilliam Foundation, said: “If there was no past history at the university, I think what the students are saying would sound extremely reasonable.

“However, there has been quite a vicious and nasty history there. They have to deal with that and give a bit more to the university.” "

In the UK incitement to hatred is a crime. It is a crime regardless of the country but in the UK it is taken seriously. Preaching that one particular group should attack and kill another is not acceptable in any civilised country.

I can only assume that someone like Bill is not civilised if he supports the killing of someone who chooses to worship his or her G-d in a different way. The Uni is quite right to require that such sermons are not given on their premises. The Uni is not saying that they cannot worship there only that they will not accept such abuses being preached and that they want to know that this isn't happening. Any other group would accept that but not Islamists, everyone has to aceed to their wants and their demands and, if not, you are committing a crime.

How does an Islamist change a lightbulb? He puts a new bulb in and waits for the world to revolve around him.

There are several commands in the Koran to kill the apostate (convert). This is an up-to-date statement.

The contemporary (i.e., 1991) Al-Azhar (Cairo) Islamic Research Academy endorsed manual of Islamic Law, Umdat al-Salik (pp. 595-96) states: "Leaving Islam is the ugliest form of unbelief (kufr) and the worst.... When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostasizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed. In such a case, it is ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed."

Bill K.

It seems that you don't want to throw in the good with the bad, which is commendable. However, when there has been article after article posted on C2NN and C2C vilifying Christians, Christianity, Israelis(Jews). These demonizing articles gush forth like a waterfall. Many people here were so quick to note these articles and pronounce negative judgment.

Were you one of those people Bill K, that were happy to demonize, but now it's not something that you agree with, you're suddenly sensitive to labeling a whole group? I've seen a lot of people like that on C2 - Patrick D, for one. The hypocrisy is astounding.

There was a study done, Bill K., that showed that 80% of mosques have literature supporting violent Jihad. If this is truly representative, it's very frightening to think that we have so many who hate the West so much that they are considering Jihad against the Kufar (non-Muslims) here at home.

Now, I know Carola and I can tell you for sure that she likes many Muslims, and for that matter, most of us do, but the TREND is, that in universities across Europe and the U.S. and Canada, hatred is preached during sermons at Islamic prayer time. Most of these university groups are subgroups of the Muslim Brotherhood, and their agenda is to subvert Western governments, foment hatred against Jews, Israel and Christianity.

This absolutely needs to be in the consciousness of the West for all of our sakes, and I appreciate that Rob & J and Carola have brought up this issue, even though it is not currently PC to do so, and even though they knew they'd get flack.

The university said it wants to be able to control what is done under its authority. The students said they didn't want to be controlled and refused to comply with the university's demands. The university owns the space. Welcome to the wonderful world of "don't screw with the people who hold the power". Regardless of whether there was hate-speech at the sermons, this may be one of the most important lessons it could have taught the students.

Gene Jacobson (290)

“Whilst this was a disappointment, the university could not continue to condone an activity taking place on its premises where it cannot exercise reasonable supervision.”

This is eminently reasonable. And what better place for a group to learn that not all speech is protected speech than at a university? The university IS responsible for what goes on there and given the previous history, this is a reasonable decision. Muslims have their mosques in which to teach hate, the rooms provided for prayer at schools, businesses are for just that, the 5 daily prayers pious muslims perform. That is NOT the same thing as a sermon, not in any religion. If you want to spread hate speech, and advocating killing anyone is most certainly that, and in some places a terroristic threat and therefore illegal as well, then do it in your mosque or private dwelling, not on public property.

Thats the trouble You cannot trust that the muslims are praying So many terroists are being made at meetings like this even at mosques and making bombs
Its about time some people in Britain started to wake up to Islam They have turned the word rascist in to a stupid word We are already getting sick of having to be politically correct and i agree with Georga sick of the human rights policies now that have gone way to far
These are not even people you can look up to in any way they just breed hatred and vengeance and terroism and just want to rule us and everyone if they get the chance
At the moment the way things are going it will be not if they get the chance but when!! Its quite frightening for the British people and time we had someone harder in Government who could say no to these people

Beth & others, heres a fact that you could maybe find a way of denying:
Christians have committed more genocides abd murders of humans on this planet than all the other religions put together.Start with the genocide of nearly 20 million Native Americans in North America, nearly 1 million Aboriginals in Australia, the Nazi "cleansing" of undesirables in Europe in the 30's and 40's. Almost all the wars since WW2 have been started by Christians. Countless others under the rule of the great British Empire in it's 300 year passage through much of this planet. Lets judge religions not on what they preach, but on what they practise. By the way, I happen to be a Christian, trying to practise Christs teachings rather than pontificating about them. You would do well to try doing the same.

Ripping the West in Two.
Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Sharia law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.
She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo , spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel .. He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "Shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

The university didn't stop them from their prayers or "sermons", they had suggested "alternative sites for Friday prayers" and the students have been using another site in the community. They haven't been prevented from doing their thing. In any case, the university is responsible for what takes place on its property and in its rooms, so the request to know what was in the "sermons" is not unreasonable.

It seems that care2 did not like my comment about asking people to define Christianity. There are many forms, Lutheran, Protestant, Catholic, Baptist, Wesleyan etc. and all I ever see is Christianity. So, please state which version you are accusing.

It is a common practice, which I see continually where Muslims are being supported for their abuses, that someone condemns Christians. I would point out that brining up ancient history is not relevant to the conversation today. However, Muslims in this day and age DO kill any form of Christian and you should note the terrible abuses in any Muslim controlled country. They burn churches, kill people, rape little girls and forcibly convert then marry them. I note that no-one here has condemned the recent murder of 500 Christians in Nigeria.

Now, the pro-Islamists will accuse me of attacking all Muslims but nowhere has anyone suggested that. What is being said that the attackers of Christians are all Muslim but not that all Muslims have attacked Christians. If English is your first language then I suggest that you go back to school.

I support the banning of any group that is preaching hatred such as killing the apostate, homosexual or non-Muslim. I have yet to hear of any other religion, today, preach such hatred and appalling abuses.

From the Religion of Peace which is from apostates

Those who turn their back on Islam are to be executed. This is confirmed by the words and deeds of Muhammad. The only freedom of belief in Islam is the freedom to become Muslim.

Qur'an (4:89) - "They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them, and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper."

Qur'an (9:11-12) - "But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge. And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief -Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist."

Other verses that seem to support the many Hadith demanding death for apostates are Qur'an verses 2:217, 9:73-74, 88:21, 5:54, and 9:66.

The reason why executing apostates has always been well-ensconced in Islamic law is that there is an indisputable record of Muhammad and his companions doing exactly that according to the reliable Hadith. According to verse 4:80 of the Quran: "Whoso obeyeth the Messenger obeyeth Allah."

Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " Note that there is no distinction as to how that Muslim came to be a Muslim.

Bukhari (83:37) - "Allah's Apostle never killed anyone except in one of the following three situations: (1) A person who killed somebody unjustly, was killed (in Qisas,) (2) a married person who committed illegal sexual intercourse and (3) a man who fought against Allah and His Apostle and deserted Islam and became an apostate."

Bukhari (84:57) - [In the words of] "Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

Bukhari (89:271) - A man who embraces Islam, then reverts to Judaism is to be killed according to "the verdict of Allah and his apostle."

Bukhari (84:58) - "There was a fettered man beside Abu Muisa. Mu'adh asked, 'Who is this (man)?' Abu Muisa said, 'He was a Jew and became a Muslim and then reverted back to Judaism.' Then Abu Muisa requested Mu'adh to sit down but Mu'adh said, 'I will not sit down till he has been killed. This is the judgment of Allah and His Apostle (for such cases) and repeated it thrice.' Then Abu Musa ordered that the man be killed, and he was killed. Abu Musa added, 'Then we discussed the night prayers'"

Bukhari (84:64-65) - "Allah's Apostle: 'During the last days there will appear some young foolish people who will say the best words but their faith will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will have no faith) and will go out from (leave) their religion as an arrow goes out of the game. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection.'"

Abu Dawud (4346) - "Was not there a wise man among you who would stand up to him when he saw that I had withheld my hand from accepting his allegiance, and kill him?" Muhammad is chastising his companions for allowing an apostate to "repent" under duress. (The person in question was Muhammad's former scribe who left him after doubting the authenticity of divine "revelations" upon finding out that he could suggest grammatical changes. He was brought back to Muhammad after having been captured in Medina).

Reliance of the Traveller (Islamic Law) o8.1 - "When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed." (o8.4 affirms that there is no penalty for killing an apostate).

Colin R where are your proofs for the ridiculous leftist BS you spout - everything the West has done is evil and obscene, while everything done by all (inferior) other peoples must be praised and all their hate and genocide ignored? Most of those deaths of indigenous peoples were from diseases unknowingly carried to them, but that doesn't matter to you, does it, but you would certainly use that to excuse any atrocities done by Muslims.

Have you no compassion for your own fellow Christians being ethnically cleansed right now in every Muslim-ruled land from Northern Nigeria to Egypt, Iran, Iraq, the Maldives to so-called 'moderate' Indonesia where over 300 churches and countless Buddhist temples have been closed or destroyed, no new ones allowed (very common in Islamic dominated countries)???

The first time the word 'genocide' was used was in the early 20th century when, under Ataturk (whom we presume you praise), 3 million Christians (Armenian, Greek, Assyrian) were slaughtered, starved and driven out as Ataturk wanted to 'cleanse' (his word) once Christian Turkey (Byzantium) of all non-Muslims - a practice that has been going on for 1400 years as Christian, Buddhist and Hindu lands have been conquered and oppressed, their cultures and religion and languages wiped out by this ideology of hate, and where there are very few of the original Christians, Buddhists or Hindus left. (80 Million Indians were slaughtered in the Muslim invasion and conquest of India - the greatest genocide in human history by far).

It is estimated that Islam has murdered, or 'committed genocide' as you would say, over 270 Million people since Mohammed began having hundreds murdered who wouldn't accept him as a prophet ( - an no wonder with his debauched, violent, hateful, sex-obsessed life of raping captive women, 'marrying' and raping a 6y/o child, robbing and plundering surround people, selling women and children into slavery, owning slaves and a whole harem of sex slaves, breaking treaties and forcing conversion to his new politico-religion by the sword. Are you going to defend this? Compare this evil man and his cruelty and lust to Jesus Christ's life and teachings.

Mohammed taught and did the exact opposite of everything that Jesus taught in the Gospels. There is a BIG difference between so-called Christians committing acts of evil which are going against the teachings of Jesus, whereas Orthodox Muslims committing genocide, rape and banditry are following the teachings and example of their leader to the letter, and his deity, Allah (the ancient Arab chief god, the Moon god and god of war) condoned it all.

When are you appeasers of Islamic hate going to open your eyes and learn about it so you don't make such fools of yourselves with your canned leftist hate against all things western? All cultures and religions are NOT equal. Read the Qur'an, hadith and sirah as we have. SEE for yourselves that is teaches hate against all non-Muslims.

The naive assumption of so many of you that all religion teaches love, nonviolence, tolerance and peace is just that - naive. Islam teaches nothing of the sort. Any of the earlier Meccan verses in the Qur'an were all abrogated by the later much more violent and hateful Medinan verses (the Q is not written in chronological order so it is very confusing and much of it was lost when Muslims were killing each other over power after Mohammed died rich and fat).

Here's the Qur'an in the order it was written (surahs 5 & 9, two of the most hateful were the last 2 written): (and this site even shows the verses that are out of order)

The hadith (the sayings and actions of Mohammed - be prepared to be sickened, disgusted, horrified and even to laugh out loud over the cruel, hateful, dishonest, and just plain stupid things this man did and said): (at least read Bukhari the most revered of all)

You who claim to be 'Christians' will be quite offended by what the Qur'an and hadith say about Jesus. Muslims always say 'We believe in Jesus', but Islam says he was NOT the Son of God, wasn't Crucified or Resurrected, said he was a Muslim slave to Allah and came to prepare the way for the greatest prophet of all times - Mohammed (a 'prophet' who didn't prophesy or perform any miracles and lived a life of cruelty and debauchery). So what they mean is that they believe Jesus was a wimpy minor prophet who prophesied the coming of one greater than him.

Barbara DF, You certainly express a lot of 'HATE' in your comment that is also totally lacking in any facts or knowledge. Have you and Colin ever read the Qur'an and hadith??? Obviously not. So Pakistan has an Eco-Park? Wow! They also oppress and persecute all non-Muslims and are the worst country in the world to be a woman, according to the UN. Their intolerant laws are based on Islamic law. How can you turn a blind eye to the millions suffering there and elsewhere under this ideology of hate and intolerance???

No Muslim ruled land has freedom of speech, religion, conscience or press. Are you defenders of Islam actually admitting you defend this cult of hate and death? There are Muslims who know almost nothing about what Islam really teaches and most have never read the Qur'an, let alone the hadith. Many Muslims in the West have fled here to escape Islam's oppressive hand, and many Muslims in the West actually believe that Islam teaches the same values as the Judeo-Christian religion (of which Islam is NO relation at all). No one is preaching hate against all Muslims, but those of us who know that Islam teaches, just like Nazism, we DO oppose it and try to expose it and all the evil it stands for. Islam commands death for those who criticize or leave it. Are you defending this hate too? Open your eyes.

Colin I can't believe you would make such ridiculous statements! You are calling Hitler and his Nazis "Christians"? They weren't following Christ's commands at all and Hitler denigrated Christianity and Jesus, but he loved Islam and worked with the Grand Mufti (yes, that is what he was actually called) of Muslim occupied Jerusalem who wanted Hitler to kill all the Jews there too. One hundred thousand Balkan Muslims joined the Nazi military to kill Jews. Your biased hateful statement is very offensive and false.

Mohammed commanded his followers to spread his religion by force. He actually bragged "I have been made victorious with terror" (Bukhari 52:220) and his fire-breathing god said: '"Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: 'I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and
incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes." Qur'an 8.12

How can you defend this kind of hate?

Here's is what Hitler thought of Islam and Christianity:

Albert Speer, Hitler's Minister of Armaments and War Production said Hitler said: “You see, it’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Albert Speer also said: "Hitler had been much impressed by a scrap of history he had learned from a delegation of distinguished Arabs. When the Mohammedans attempted to penetrate beyond France into Central Europe during the eighth century, his visitors had told him, they had been driven back at the Battle of Tours. Had the Arabs won this battle, the world would be Mohammedan today. For theirs was a religion that believed in spreading the faith by the sword and subjugating all nations to that faith. Such a creed was perfectly suited to the Germanic temperament. Hitler said that the conquering Arabs, because of their racial inferiority, would in the long run have been unable to contend with the harsher climate and conditions of the country. They could not have kept down the more vigorous natives, so that ultimately not Arabs but Islamized Germans could have stood at the head of this Mohammedan Empire."

The Beast Reawakens: Fascism’s Resurgence from Hitler’s Spymasters …Martin A. Lee – 1999 – Political Science – 560 pages (page 122) 'Even though he [Hitler] loathed Arabs (he once described them as “lacquered half-apes who ought to be whipped”)'

Amin al Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem spent WWII in Berlikn, egging Hitler on to hurry up extermination of Jews and come to Palestine and Arab world to exterminate Jews there. Mufti also was in Bosnia where he recruited 2 SS Muslim divisions from poor Bosnian Muslim peasants at the same time when Nazi Kurt Waldheim (UN secretary from 1972-1980) was shipping Jews to their death in concentration camps.

Mufti was a role model to Arafat, Abbas, Ahmedinijad, Nasser and numerous other Muslim "leaders" in how to murder their opponents, steal from their people and how to twist public opinion as Goebbels did in Germany. He did not need Goebbels for his lies, since Qur'an itself promotes taqiiya-Islamic principle of lying (see Barack Hussein Obama is even more skilful in this taqiyya-Islamic principle of lying than Mufti,, because he managed to convince 70% of American Jews to vote for him, although he gives access, US taxpayers money and F-16 to the swarn enemies of Jews and Israel, his Muslim Brotherhood, led by Mohamed Morsi who considers Jews as descendents of pigs and apes, as do many Muslim leaders.

Islam deserves as much respect as it gives to others: N ONE, It is a supremacist ideology, similar to supremacist Nazi ideology, including its delusional Jew hatred, which led to Holocaust in WWII, and which Muslims would repeat in Middle East by annihilating Israel if given the chance, in which Barack Hussein Obama is playing a lead role. Oy veh!

Ah, but Carol, I AM on the left. The far left. "I swear the ignorance of those on the left will never stop!!" Socially, governmentally. But not on this issue. I think religion the greatest evil ever perpetrated on humanity BY humanity. The arrogance of those who presume to speak for the Creator of this universe knows no bounds. Every religion, every religious text and proclamation is one MAN telling other men what God told him, and no one else, mind you. Normally we get such people treatment for their delusion, but call it religion and the delusion is perfectly okay. Religion's purpose from the beginning has been to allow some men to control all other people, power and make a nice living at the same time. It is all bunk. All man made.

Every century has had its barbarian horde to deal with, every one. This century it is Islam. I notice they have much in commone with our right wing. They like to call themselves the exact opposite of what they really are in hopes that people will belive the words, and not notice the actions. The religion of peace is nothing of the kind, there has never been a religion as hateful and bloodthirsty as this one and yes, I do know about the Crusades. One cannot live in peace with people whose religion demand they kill you. This is the stated goal of Islam, convert or die, and they don't much care which. I am against anything that infringes on the right of people to make up their own minds as to what they think of this universe, this whole cycle of life that we have no choice in, and EVERY religion does interfere with individuals. Because it allows some men to exercise power over many others with their pomp and ceremonial nonsense. They would have you believe your Creator only finds THEM worthy of being spoken to. What parent would do that to Her children? Only talk to one or two of them and shun the rest? Not even a human could be so aloof, so plain mean. That is completely a human invention and fits perfectly with the conditional way we love, only when you are doing what I want, do I love, you else I am angry. That is human NOT divine. It is easy to see the difference when you remove the log from your own eye, or so some man wrote. Love is the answer to every question and love is never hateful nor murderous and all religions were, or are. Love is kind, generous, tolerant and forgiving. Religions are only if you "repent" and accept their will for you own. I'll never do that. I don't know why anyone would. Well, it IS easier to let others do your thinking for you, it absolves you from having to answer these moral questions yourself if you just mouth what some man said, but that is an abdication of the free will we were born with. In my opinion. The "religion of peace", well there is no greater threat to peace in this century than that one. Someone mentioned they are not all terrorists. Okay, fine. Then just where is the hue and cry in THIS country over the actions taken by others in other countries in the name of Islam? Are their people marching in the streets here, or anywhere, demanding to take back their religion from these drug running murderous heathens? Cuz, I'm not hearing or seeing ANYONE from any branch of that "religion" speaking out loudly against terrorists beheading innocents or murdering schoolgirls or any of the subhuman things those fools in the 12th century robes and monstrous thoughts do or say. Silence on that. Well, silence is consent. And therefore, I conclude ALL Muslim's are just fine with what is going on in the middle east, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan and Indonesia. Not one voice is raised in opposition. So they concur. And that makes them all a clear and present danger to the rest of us. I am far to the left of center, just not on this topic. John Lennon had it right. And no religion too. THAT is what this world needs, no religion of any kind, reason, love and compassion should be enough. But we humans lack the capacity to render any of those without our conditions, and in that, we are most UnGodly indeed.
