In recent weeks, Israeli journalists who cover Palestinian affairs have been facing increased threats from Palestinian reporters. Human rights organizations and groups claiming to defend freedom of media have failed to condemn the campaign of intimidation

Where is the outrage from all the lovers of the brutal Palestinian dictatorship? Or Obama or the mainstream media? These bigots get away with literal murder, even of their own children and no one, including the so-called 'human rights groups' mutter a word of condemnation. Disgusting.

There is no freedom of religion, speech, conscience or press in this Islamic Sharia zone, so why would anyone be surprised at this assault on the press? The Palestinian dictators attack their own journalists if they don't tell the lies that they put out and report the truth instead. And no one condemns this?

"Today, there is a new generation of Palestinian journalists who have evidently been radicalized to a point where any meeting with an Israeli is being viewed as a "crime."

Not only does palestine pervert justice ,the use of the term journalist is also a perversion when applied to these mo-rons also --- the use of the term radicalised is the greatest perversion of all -- It was developed by western weasels to enable them to dodge the issue of confronting islam for what it is.

This shows very clearly why any accommodation with the Palestinians is impossible. They are so full of hate they are incapable of normal human interaction.

i do wonder if the palestinian leadership, most particularly hamas in gaza, dominates that exploding population in a reign of terror, keeping the majority in poverty and ignorance, feeding them a diet of anti-israel propaganda, and seducing - with inflated fictions - a lazy world media which enjoys its state of gullibility.
in a nutshell...

Disappointed, but not surprised that radical hate would begin to materialize in this generation of Palestinian reporters.

It's OK to intimidate Israeli reporters because they are Israeli but can you imagine the shrieks and howls from the anti-Semitic brigade?

The escalation in terrorism with its ensuing threats is mounting daily. The Palestinian media will get to a point where they will kill and destroy with impunity and there is not one word of outrage from the UN.

"What is disturbing is that foreign journalists based in Israel have not come out against the campaign of intimidation against their Israeli colleagues. Could it be because these foreign journalists have also been facing threats and want to stay on good terms with Palestinian reporters, and will also agree to report only on "Palestinian suffering"?

Yep, judging from so many Palestinian threats to foreign journalists in the past, I'd say this is a real high probability.

Of COURSE the Palestinian journalists are angry and threatening Israeli journalists. That's what thugs and bullies DO when things aren't going their way.

The Pali side is such an utter, dysfunctional disgrace, and they know even with all of its faults, Israel is light years ahead of them by every conceivable measure, that they fear the Israelis show the Fakestinians for what they really are.

Pallywood could conjure up fake attacks by the Israelis when it was on Fakestinian territory, the Fakestinian journalists would not be able to do the same sort of serial lying and manipulation on Israeli territory.

Poor guys. Having a rough year.

What kind of minds do these people have that they consistently have to come up with some sort of hatred!? It's unreal how some humans minds are infected so badly with hatred! And then there are those who are suppose to stop this kind of insanity and turn a blind eye! I have a feeling it won't last long the way this world is going!! Those filled with hatred will more than likely not like their new eternity home!

The Palestinians are reacting extremely unprofessionally. The Palestinian journalists will bury all truths and circulate a horde of lies throughout the Arab Nations and “the four corners of the world” (just Biblically paraphrasing). Eventually, the ignorant we actually believe in all the slander seeping and pouring out of the mouths of Israel’s enemies!!!

Well, obviously, this is their intention!

It is amazing how they can make it up as they go along. MERI translates the news from Arabic to English. The constant stream calling for the death of Jews and Christians along with the west is never ending. Jihad this Jihad that, fatwa after fatwa. I am just so tired of it. It gets to the point where even trying to answer each lie with facts is almost impossible.

You can counter the lies with facts and they will simply ignore it and start again. I have read that the Jews, Zionists, Israelis etc. have been responsible for all the wars, floods, economic, social and political problems in the whole world. Wow we sure are busy.

I mean, I do not even know how to start a war let alone a flood! But heck, I an willing to learn. And being a descendent of pigs and monkeys may account for my strange attraction to wild life documentaries on TV.

No I know this is not funny. Anti-Semitism bigotry and hate is not funny. It has been said that Truth is the first casualty of war, Since the Palestinians and much of the Arab world has called for the death of Jews and the end of Israel since 1948 truth has been under constant attack.

So we must defend the truth, for in the defence of truth is the path to peace and justice and one can hope reconciliation.

I am puzzled by the civilized world desire to give Arabs 22-nd state!

All of the first 21 Arab states failed to deliver decent life to their population. Corruption, extremism, militancy and intolerance are well known and non-resolvable.

Another Arab state in Palestine will be Hamas-like source of constant war with Israel.

Who needs the bigger war over there?

Barbara? The truth be told, I am not sure they hate us more than they love themselves, I'm not sure they understand the word or the concept. These are the people, after all, who celebrate their children becoming human bombs. Whose idea of parental love is martyrdom. As a parent who has lost both of my sons, they disgust me in ways I can't even begin to describe here. They don't know anything but hate, the whole accursed "religion" is filled with it as is their bloody history and their bloody present. THIS is the coming conflict. If there were any truth in Revelations and the end of the world were to come about through war, it would be the conflict between islam and everyone else which begins it. Even without Revelations (which is delusional in my opinion - they must have had magic mushrooms back then too) the world is at war with islam, like it or not, because THEY are at war with us, and each other. There is nothing peaceful about them and never has been. What even looks like moderate behavior is only them lying in wait until their numbers are large enough to begin real trouble as is happening now all around the world. The religion of hate is what it is and what it ought be known as. Without out hate, it is an empty shell of pedophilia and misogyny.

it sounds like you people really need to study history and when the occupation of palestine began and who fired the first shot and who bombed the farmers already living there and how the occupation has been going on for over 60 years. occupation is ILLEGAL. the taking of civilian land is ILLEGAL. the shooting of school children is ILLEGAL. did i mention that the occupation is ILLEGAL. here is an interesting fact, israel is signatory to the 4th geneva convention, nuremburg law and the u.n. charter, all of which state that the actions that have begun with the israeli government over 60 years ago is ILLEGAL. the elected officials cannot leave israel because of fear they will be arrested and charged with war crimes. and you wonder why the palestinian journalists are mad? so, your comments make me believe that i can beat every single one of you senseless with a baseball bat and you can't do anything about it. that is exactly your attitude toward palestine. what is al nakba?

Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territories
Human Rights Concerns

Amnesty International's concerns are based on international standards and applied equally within the proper legal framework. The legal framework is defined by who retains jurisdiction, or effective control, over an area and the circumstances or situation at the time of the human rights violation. Amnesty's concerns within Israel-proper, the area inside the 1949 (W. Bank/E. Jerusalem) and 1951 (Gaza Strip) armistice lines (also called the '1967 borders') include but are not limited to, ill-treatment and torture of detainees, excessive use of force, the detention of conscientious objectors, and forced evictions and home demolitions within 'unrecognized' Bedouin villages.

The Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory (the West Bank including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip) is in its fifth decade and the undercurrent of violence and inherent abuses of fundamental human rights and disregard for international law inherent in any long-standing military occupation is presented by both sides. Both Israeli and Palestinian civilians continue to bear the brunt of the violence in the region.

Noted. There are no words to respond well to the photo of the (I assume) reporter wearing a "Kiill Jews" band on her/his forehead. It was almost surreal to read about Palestinian journalists being "radicalized". Journalists radicalized?! Oy veh. (No joke intended)

The Palestinian journalist are truly fools, but for the Israeli journalist better to have your enemies out in the open and know who and what they are. Sadly, there are so many facets to this Israeli & Palestinian escalation of hate that sooner than later an explosion (literary & figuratively) is coming and innocents both there and worldwide is coming. The scariest part is all sides use jewah, Christ, Mohammed as the justification for this stupidity! Some god?

Arab culture is not particularly fond to Jews, Christians or Muslims of wrong "color". The only thing deserving attention is the blatant expose of Arab racism towards Jews.

Arafat tried to conceal displays of that hate, but Hamas won't bother. They are quite honest in that regard.

Ah, well a nice piece of islamopobic propaganda isa good way to end the day. If one bothers to check the ONLY source for this story is the Gatestone Institute which is a Neocon Islamophobia advocacy organization. GI is also just a subset of the Hudson Institute, and gee Scooter Libby just hapens to be a VP of HI, funded by Nina Rosenwald and sister Elizabth Varet. If one does bother to dig the reason that no one other than the Islamophobes is covering this is that it is crap. There is no actual Intifada. There is a petition from Palestinian journalist to refuse Israeli journalists in to Palestine just exactly the way Palistiniand journalists are refused in to Israel. And some how I have a reallly hard time equating ONE damaged microphone, no persons, and One Isreali journalist being excluded from a single press conference, with again no one hurt, with an Intifada unless of course you work for a pair of very Rich Islamophobes.

Alexander Werner (53)
Friday May 3, 2013, 1:48 pm
Yeah, right. Islamist extremists are again trying to play "Islmophobic" card blaming those who protests militant and racist acts by Palestinian Arabs, as if that protest is aimed at all Muslims.

Been there, see that. And another cute angle: "ver yRich Islamophobes"? That's something new! I heard of Saudi princes making cars from Platinum or White Gold. A nice tactic to divert attention who is really gettnig filthy rich at the current gas prices.

The rest of some posts are sheer nonsense. Arab journalists are all Israel, together with NGOs paid by Arab states. Cutting the crap, Arab journalists know in advances where Arab riots will start and go there to pick best positions.

Of course kicking out some Jews from a press conference won't hurt anyone besides that Jew, but who needs to take that Jew into account? And since when those Dhimmies deserve to be respected?

you want to know what is insane: the numerous israelis that actually deny Al Nakba took place. it's the same as if i were to say the holocaust didn't happen.

Al-Nakba: The Palestinian Catastrophe 1948 is a documentary film of Benny Brunner and Alexandra Jansse. It follows the events that surround the 1948 Palestinian exodus. It was filmed in 1996, is 58 minutes long and is in English. Based on the book The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem, 1947–1949 by Benny Morris, it is the first documentary film to examine the displacement of 750,000 Palestinians during the birth of the state of Israel.[1][2][3] The film shifts between interviews with Palestinian refugees and the reactions of Irgun and Haganah soldiers who witnessed and participated in the events of 1948.[4]

Catherine B, interesting you don't mention the 1 million Jews forced out of Arab/Muslim lands where they had lived for centuries. But they were taken in by Israel (founded by Jews 3000 years ago and also Jerusalem their capitol, despite Muslim claims, since Islam wasn't invented until 1600 years later!) and they haven't sat around on their butts whining for 70 years like the Palestinians, living on Infidel western welfare all the time. Jews and Israel have built a vibrant, progressive country that has added greatly to the world's scientific and medical advances.

What have Palestinians given the world but suicide bombings, killing their own children, torturing and killing gay people (who have freedom in Israel) and driving out the remaining Christians?

Stan B (123)

Rob and J. It's not really fair confusing people like Catherine B with facts.
The Jewish Nakba is conveniently forgotten or ignored by the Israel bashers on Care 2. Almost 1 MILLION Jews were expelled from Arab countries after the establishment of Israel. For example the Jewish population of Egypt used to number over 75000. Today there are no Jews in Egypt. It's the same story throughout the Arab world.
Having got rid of their Jews they are now getting rid of their Christians.

What else can one expect of Palestinians, apart from terrorism and torturing their own people? Nothing. They hide behind balaclavas and shoot civilians in the back, gutless cowards. No wonder no one on this planet respects them. Ups, the Muslims do, there we are.
