Here's the story:

A mass exodus of Christians is currently underway. Millions of Christians are being displaced from one end of the Islamic world to the other.

We are reliving the true history of how the Islamic world, much of which prior to the Islamic conquests was almost entirely Christian, came into being.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom recently said: “The flight of Christians out of the region is unprecedented and it’s increasing year by year.” In our lifetime alone “Christians might disappear altogether from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt.”

Ongoing reports from the Islamic world certainly support this conclusion: Iraq was the earliest indicator of the fate awaiting Christians once Islamic forces are liberated from the grip of dictators.

The 2010 Baghdad church attack, which saw nearly 60 Christian worshippers slaughtered, is the tip of a decade-long iceberg.

In 2003, Iraq’s Christian population was at least one million. Today fewer than 400,000 remain—the result of an anti-Christian campaign that began with the U.S. occupation of Iraq, when countless Christian churches were bombed and countless Christians killed, including by crucifixion and beheading.

The 2010 Baghdad church attack, which saw nearly 60 Christian worshippers slaughtered, is the tip of a decade-long iceberg.

Now, as the U.S. supports the jihad on Syria’s secular president Assad, the same pattern has come to Syria: entire regions and towns where Christians lived for centuries before Islam came into being have now been emptied, as the opposition targets Christians for kidnapping, plundering, and beheadings, all in compliance with mosque calls telling the populace that it’s a “sacred duty” to drive Christians away.

In October 2012 the last Christian in the city of Homs—which had a Christian population of some 80,000 before jihadis came—was murdered. One teenage Syrian girl said: “We left because they were trying to kill us… because we were Christians…. Those who were our neighbors turned against us. At the end, when we ran away, we went through balconies. We did not even dare go out on the street in front of our house.”

In Egypt, some 100,000 Christian Copts have fled their homeland soon after the “Arab Spring.” In September 2012, the Sinai’s small Christian community was attacked and evicted by Al Qaeda linked Muslims, Reuters reported. But even before that, the Coptic Orthodox Church lamented the “repeated incidents of displacement of Copts from their homes, whether by force or threat.

Displacements began in Ameriya [62 Christian families evicted], then they stretched to Dahshur [120 Christian families evicted], and today terror and threats have reached the hearts and souls of our Coptic children in Sinai.”

Iraq, Syria, and Egypt are part of the Arab world. But even in “black” African and “white” European nations with Muslim majorities, Christians are fleeing.

In Mali, after a 2012 Islamic coup, as many as 200,000 Christians fled. According to reports, “the church in Mali faces being eradicated,” especially in the north “where rebels want to establish an independent Islamist state and drive Christians out… there have been house to house searches for Christians who might be in hiding, churches and other Christian property have been looted or destroyed, and people tortured into revealing any Christian relatives.” At least one pastor was beheaded.

Even in European Bosnia, Christians are leaving en mass “amid mounting discrimination and Islamization.” Only 440,000 Catholics remain in the Balkan nation, half the prewar figure.

Problems cited are typical: “while dozens of mosques were built in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, no building permissions [permits] were given for Christian churches.” “Time is running out as there is a worrisome rise in radicalism,” said one authority, who further added that the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina were “persecuted for centuries” after European powers “failed to support them in their struggle against the Ottoman Empire.”

And so history repeats itself.

One can go on and on:

In Ethiopia, after a Christian was accused of desecrating a Koran, thousands of Christians were forced to flee their homes when “Muslim extremists set fire to roughly 50 churches and dozens of Christian homes.”
In the Ivory Coast—where Christians have literally been crucified—Islamic rebels “massacred hundreds and displaced tens of thousands” of Christians.
In Libya, Islamic rebels forced several Christian religious orders, serving the sick and needy in the country since 1921, to flee.

To anyone following the plight of Christians under Islamic persecution, none of this is surprising. As I document in my new book, “Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians,” all around the Islamic world—in nations that do not share the same race, language, culture, or economics, in nations that share only Islam—Christians are being persecuted into extinction. Such is the true face of extremist Islamic resurgence.

Raymond Ibrahim is author of the new book "Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians" (Regnery Publishing 2013). A Middle East and Islam specialist, he is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center and an associate fellow at the Middle East Forum.

I read the recent report on persecutions worldwide and Christians are the most persecuted religious group, and the list of countries where they are persecuted shows every Muslim dominated land.

Where is the outrage over this? Why isn't this in more mainstream media headlines? Where is Obama's outrage? If someone wanted to burn a Qur'an you know he and the media would explode in outrage! Yet Obama keeps aiding the very people who are perpetrating this genocide against Christians (and others) and no one seems to care about them. That is an outrage.

One troubling part is that these sorts of massacres and expulsioins are, I believe, not only driven by religious supremacists, but what allows them to thrive in the first place. By reducing cultural diversity, they reduce the diversity in their local marketplaces of ideas and disable the primary engine of social progress. This is how we get the Islamic equivalent of 10th century Europe, along with its crusaders, preserved over a thousand years later.

if this is not an extreme form of apartheid, i don't know what is. certainly NOT anything happening in israel, that's for sure.
the most troubling aspect of these stories is the absence of any kind of support from countries whose populations have christian majorities. where is the solidarity?why the deafening silence?

David E. of Care2 brought this book to my attention. I had hope to own this book by now; however, it is only on my Amazon.com Wish List! I hope to own it very soon!

I fear, when our government financially and economically collapses, that the homegrown and conditioned Islamic terrorists educated in various Islamic training camps throughout the United States will start attacking us from within. We do still have a large Christian population of Catholics and non-Catholics. And, our non-Catholic population breaks up into twenty or more religions.

And …, unfortunately, our Christian population is mostly kindergarteners when it comes to their faith, meaning that they will easily submit to Islam. However, someone like me will die brutally for my faith, because it is really all I know.

Some folks here are apparently worried about what will happen if things really come to blows in the West. I am also concerned, but not that Westerners would be defeated by Islamic supremacists. I am worried about Muslims who have and want nothing to do with those guys. However things may look on the surface, Europeans are still the people who conquered the world, and the U.S. is still the most powerful nation in human history. Arabs and Arabic societies are neither of these. The supremacists could also be basically Western, but the radicalization is primarily a matter of Arabic influence so the more radical these guys are, generally, the less effective they would be. On the other hand, we could see another major genocide in the Western world, and there is little reason to believe it would stop with Muslims. If things really come to blows, a lot of innocent people will die and we might not like the Western societies that come out the other side.

driven? no no no. if your ever trying get out of a muslim country and don't know the way out and you happen to see me. don't even bother asking me for directions. just follow me. cause if i'm in there? i'm tryin to get out. if you're a christian and it gets to the point where muslims have to drive you out. well then the probably means you missed the memo.

Emrys M, what you are not 'getting' is that they ARE being driven out of their ancestral lands. All of the Muslim occupied lands today were invaded and conquered by Muslims by the sword. They were all once mostly Christian and where the supposedly famous Islamic 'inventions' were taken from. The religious people of the conquered nations have been slowly strangled for centuries until almost none remain. They have had heavy taxes, have been refused advancement, had harsh restrictions on their building or repairing churches etc and on their freedom of speech etc. These are their original countries. Islam is the invader and occupied. IT should leave.

And Max, we fear, if our dimwit, cowardly, appeasing leaders don't act soon to stop what is happening, it will come to civil war as the people will have to defend themselves when their governments won't. We sure hope not.

And Christians and Jews are People of the Book according to the Quran.…if Allah had not driven some people back by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where Allah‘s name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. Allah will certainly help those who help Him—Allah is All-Strong, Almighty.} (Al-Hajj 22: 40)

GOOD! They need to get the hell away from Muslim extremists. Sorry, this will not be a popular comment, but I just don't like a world with Muslims in it! If they are taught from the Quran, they are HATERS! We don't need them and we should not help them. PERIOD!

Get the hell out of Muslim countries while you still can!

P.S. And for the Muslim extremists who are here in the West, GO HOME! We don't (I don't) want anything to do with your "religion." You can call me a hater, and maybe I am, but it's the actions of these crazy Muslims that have made me feel this way. Islam needs to disappear off the face of the earth. It is so full of hate (along with some other religions) that it makes me ill.

Vlad The Impaler was considered a hero in 1481 and onwards, for getting rid of the Ottoman Empire. HE was the one who drove Muslims and others out of HIS country! I hope it doesn't come to that extreme in the West, but it might. We never know what people will do to extremists of any kind.

Throughout human history civilizations have existed because of religion, and civilizations have died because of religion. If we were as smart as we think we are we would have demanded real, and complete, separation of "church
and state a long time ago.

Lynn Price, the problem is is that most of the countries now occupied by invading Muslims were once Christian or Buddhist. It isn't they who should leave, but the occupying, invading peoples who have oppressed them for as much as 1400 years, treating them like inferiors and denying them their freedoms, as Allah commands that no non-Muslims can ever be treated equally with Muslims. One reason why Muslim ruled lands refuse to sign the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights - one reason among many.

While Muslims cry 'victim' constantly, and the media sadly swallows it whole without any research, they are the victimizers of all other peoples and always have been. A recent study showed that Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world at large, and in every Muslim dominated land. Jews are just not found in Muslim lands anymore except for a few very brave ones, so they don't figure in on this, or they would probably still be the most persecuted.

Where is the UN Human Rights Council? NATO? Obama? Other western leaders and even so-called 'Christian' leaders - all pretty much silent. Many fear that if they speak out against this Muslim bigotry there would be Muslim riots and violence, as seems to always occur when they are 'offended', even if it is by the truth.

Why is anybody surprised? Oil had been financing Islamic imperialism with the help of the likes of Barack Husein Obama who bows to Wahhabi Saudi king, where they stone women for adultery, behead "witches" and hang gays, and who gives US taxpayers money to his Muslim Brotherhood.

Islam is a supremacist ideology, similar to Nazi supremacist ideology, including its dhimmitude (apartheid) for Jew and Christians. Jews had been forced to leave Muslim countries (where they had to pay special tax Jiziya) when they asserted their right to have home in Israel, and now since Islamists are replacing secular Muslim dictators, the medieval evil sharia is rising its ugly head. Islam is not fit for human consumption and unlike other religions, it is incompatible with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

UN had been hijacked by the Muslims who keep defaming the only stable democracy in the Middle East, and it had started in earnest when Nazi Kurt Waldheim because a secretary General of UN in 1972. There are now 59 Muslim majority countries at the UN and politically correct Western diplomats cater to them because of the dependence on Muslim oil, just as they let Nazi war criminal Amin al Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem go unpunished to Cairo in 1946. It is OIL, STUPID! Stop driving your internal combustion engine cars and boycott Saudi and Iranian oil!

Islam is worse then Nazism, because in addition to delusional Jew and Christian hatred it promotes pedophilia, polygamy, misogyny, dhimmitude and murder for Allahu Akbar. As long as people believe lies told about Islam, its jihad against Western civilization will continue both openly and by stealth immigration.

there will only be one religion Islam and thats what they want

Allah may be Akbar (takbir That is used by all terrorists when committing murderers, including American born and raised higlhy educated Muslims, such as Dr. Nidal Hassan who murdered 14 of his colleagues while shouting Allahu Akibar, as did the Saudi terrorists of 9/11/2001 and Islamists who murdered US Ambassador in Libya. However, while Allah may be great, his "final" prophet was a pedophile, polygamist, misogynist, rapist, looter and murderer who in any decent country would be tried as a criminal he was and not emulated as a role model by 1,500 mill.ions of Muslims worldwide, whose representatives had staged jihad against all non-Muslims, now only Jews whom they hate and defame in the Western media and UN (see . "The Sons of Pigs and Apes": Muslim Antisemitism and the Conspiracy of Silence..
www.potomacbooksinc.com/Books/BookDetail.aspx?productID=271884‎

Islam is incompatible with US Constitution and with the Universal Declaration of HUman Rights and thus unless it REFORMS (tosses out 65% of hateful Koranic teachings and its criminal prophet Mohamed) it has no place in any country that respects liberty and justice for all its citizens, including women and children. The Muslims who live in the west should stop white washing Islam and REFORM it or leave it!

Read Koran to see for yourself why Christians have to leave Muslim countries as Jews did 65 years ago. M

as long as the western leaders pander to muslims and let everybody think they are the poor people being abused muslims will continue their rein of terror all over the world. it's time for the west to stop being pc and stop the muslims. shut them down. the christens that are being driven from their homes or killed or enslaved are the ones that should be getting our help. muslims can't live with anybody and need to be isolated so they can only kill each other. there is no way they will ever not kill.

When Islam rules, first go the Jews, then the Christians except for those that elect to pay the special tax -jizya in some places- but if oil is in abundance- why bother having permantent dhimmies? Those places just import a dhimmi workforce to build everything and extract the oil. Whatever the case- everyone loses in the end because once the non Muslims are gone the sectarian wars start- just like is happening in Syria and Pakistan this very moment.

I weep for this world. What loving comments were read here give me a glimmer of the hope that builds a brighter future. I live by the Golden Rule, and see that the goodness [as patricis and edw jones posted] is the power that attracts a life of well being. Destruction leads to more destruction~ a horrid thing! All of the oceans are filled with tears!!! Yet, Love saves us, and love will find a better way.
A very distressing news item. And as so many have said, how do we get the killing to STOP???!

Love one another.
