While Arabs, Muslims & Palestinians have equal rights & all freedoms in Israel, Arab states routinely discriminate against Palestinians 'where they are denied not only basic rights such as employment and health care, but also citizenship'

This is obvious to any one who actually makes any effort to do any real research instead of falling for everything in the pro-islam-Palestinian western self-censored 'media' (I won't even bother to use the term 'news' with that as this doesn't apply anymore).

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Too bad Care2 doesn't care enough about these people to print the truth about who really persecutes them - their own people.

The truth is hard to find, like a needle in a hay stack, especially with all the anti Israel propaganda and lies being spread around. Israel is not blameless, that's for sure, but there is a red line when printing hogwash which most people are happy to believe!

I'm not surprised. It's always been like this. The world is getting fed up to the back teeth with this BDS/poor little Palestinians/ victim, victim, victim public relations rubbish we have been fed for decades. If they succeeded in taking it over, what would the tiny parcel of land that is Israel anyway? Probably turn it into the same unproductive hellhole as most of the Islamic countries surrounding it. Like a pack of dogs chasing a car- they wouldn't know what to do with it if they caught it.

i'm just trying to find a way to describe what can only be called a giant conspiracy, a concept we have learned to treat with the greatest suspicion.

arab countries use a variety of cynical tactics to harass israel and jewish people. these tactics include victimising palestinians in various ways, then creating noisy media fictions and falsehoods which seek to tar israel with the brush of their own mistreatment of palestinians. the palestinians, meanwhile, who are bullied and mis-educated by their hamas overlords, and infiltrated with internally and externally trained terrorist cells, come to accept that israel is the big bad guy, when in fact israel is the relatively good guy, just trying to survive surrounded by relentlessly hostile neighbours.

sorry, that was a bit long-winded. it's grown into such a complex mess, and my paragraph is a gross simplification.

It looks as if Israel is the only Middle East country that doesn't practice apartheid against the Palestinians.
The BDS movement hasn't worked this out yet.
Thanks Rob and J.

I was curious to see if the charges of Lebanese official discrimination against Palestinians were reported elsewhere, and they are. Amnesty International (among others) also highlights the problem:

http://www.amnesty.org/en/region/lebanon/report-2011

Despite the fact that Israel's laws generally require equal treatment under the law for all its citizens the reality often results in lesser rights being afforded to citizens of Palestinian descent, a situation which shouldn't exist. But there is real hypocrisy in those who refuse to acknowledge that the treatment of Palestinians in some other Middle Eastern nations is also unjust. Anyone who only chooses to highlight Israeli actions against Palestinians while ignoring the rest is clearly revealing their motive not to be caring about the Palestinian people, but rather a love of criticism of Israel.

Sadly, until reading this article, I honestly had no idea that any Palestinians were migrating to other Arab countries. I also had no idea that some of the Arab nations were so hostile to the Palestinians.

After reading the article, I do not understand why the Palestinians did not just coexist and blend in with the Israelis. If they had done this during the last six decades, then, their culture would have been equally advanced as the Israeli culture.

The Palestinians were given an opportunity that they simply refused to utilize. It is like giving someone a gold coin and—instead of investing the coin properly—witnessing the individual wrapping it in a cloth and burying it in the ground for a later date that NEVER comes for the individual.

The individual—the Palestinians—will neither benefit nor learn what could have been accomplished with utilizing the coin properly.

In truth, the Palestinians wasted six decades of their culture and actually shamed themselves globally by not seeing or grasping the full picture of their situation and its possibilities!!!

In life, most often, we get just one chance to seize a moment and do something right with that moment. Unfortunately, the Palestinians’ moment is gone! It is o-v-e-r!!! What a tragic waste.

This is no surprise if one considers the Muslim country of Jordan's murder of 25,000 Palestinians during the Black September effort to kick them out of Jordan. Of course no one talks about that in school or in the media or in our governments, so people are purposefully being kept in the dark about Muslim persecution of Palestinians in order to maintain the narrative of the 'big, bad' Israel.

As for the roughly 50,000 Palestinians who have died in conflict with Israel, let's not forget that 11,000 were a result of trying to exterminate Israel during its war of independence. Others from that roughly 50,000 include terrorists and unfortunately civilians whom terrorists love to hide behind. Cowardly Muslim terrorists used the same strategy in Lebanon by attacking Israel from Christian southern Lebanon and then retreating so the Christians would get killed and the world would see the 'big, bad' Israel. Of course no one cared to mention the Muslim attacks on Israel but only mentioned Israel's attack on Lebanon so it made Israel out to be the aggressor. Jihadists, being the cowards they are, strike Israel from civilian areas of Palestine and then retreat to cause Palestinian deaths. Sadly, Palestinians are known to also hide the jihadists so Israel has no choice but to bomb the location of the jihadists.

We see this in US drone strikes in Muslim lands. Because it is not the case that jihadists represent a hijacked version of Islam, they gain shelter among civilian Muslims. This creates civilian deaths as the US drone strikes jihadists. If Muslims united to out the jihadists, or just killed the jihadists themselves, there would be no need for civilian deaths or even drone strikes. But true Muslims provides shelter for jihadists, so how really innocent are the Muslim civilian casualties? Not at all completely innocent.

In 2000, the UN sanctioned Israel for their treatment of the Palestinians- the only country that offers citizenship, a way of life, free health care, education for their children. All the while, the Palestinians are AGAINST Israel's right to exist. There is something terrible wrong here.
The situation in Lebanon is not surprising, as the Arab League has always looked down on these people. Imagine an Arab country offering to take some of these refugees in...forget offering aid to help Lebanon out.

I just can't understand why Israelis might discriminate against some Palestinians, when the Palestinians blow up buses full of Israelis, shoot pregnant Israeli women in the stomach and point blank range, blow up restaurants where Israeli Jews, Arabs and Christians eat, take rocks and break open the skulls of Israeli children and even ejaculate while their crushing their skulls.

Just because the Palestinians say we're going to kill every last Jew in Israel and throw them into the sea, have started intifadas in which thousands of Israelis have been murdered, actually stage fake attacks to make Israelis look bad and give them to the Western media, as well as Palestinians lying and completely making up "genocidal" events, WHY wouldn't the Israelis trust the Palestinians?

Just so hard to understand.....

The poor Palestinians don't recognize the good life even though they're living it in Israel. IF ~and that's a purely hypothetical IF ~ their Arabs brothers were ever to allow them an independent state and they lost their Israeli support............THEN they WILL have reason to whine and complain.

I'd hardly want to let in any Palestinians myself when they use photos of children killed in the Syrian conflict between the Sunni and Shia and tell the media that those are Palestinian children killed by Israelis.

How do you trust a group of people who take everything and twist it into lies to manipulate and extort? They teach their children to hate. Palestinian children's textbooks incorporate hatred and some of the most notorious antisemitic propaganda in the world into them.

Their teachers extol the virtue of hating and killing Jews. The Palestinian adults put suicide belts on their toddlers and proudly take pictures of them. Palestinian families whose sons kill themselves in suicide bombings against Israelis are given tens of thousands of dollars in reward money.

Mickey mouse and other cute figures tell Palestinian children that they will die as great martyrs and go to Paradise if they kill Israelis fill Palestinian children's TV.

This is a very, very sick society. Palestinian adults who extol suicide and murder and try to get their children to believe the same thing ought to have their children taken away from them. This is a horrific type of child abuse that can never do anything to teach peace and getting along, but always murder and bombing and violence is the answer.

If I were Israeli, you'd bet I'd be really, really careful about letting these psychopaths into my borders.

Portland, MANY people I met in Jordan spoke in anger against the Palestinian ''refugees'' who came demanding money, housing, etc. Jordan doesn't have the resources to care for all of them.

Arafat was famous for saying, "We'll fight them from our bedrooms," meaning that the Palestinians would have so many children as to outnumber the Israelis.

Of course this brilliant advice from the Egyptian goon who died from AIDS means that Palestinians are far more miserable by their own doing, because they have over-populated themselves, and NOBODY wants them.

The idea of becoming peace partners with Israel in earnest crosses the minds of only a few Palestinians, and for them I feel sorry, because it is their brainless, vitriolic, and violence-minded comrades who will murder the Palestinian leader that would actually sit down seriously and negotiate peace with the Israelis. Every Palestinian leader knows that would be his or her fate, should anyone make peace with Israel.

Pam, Jordan is supposed to be a Palestinian country, if you look at the flags they are the same. The other Arabs despise them and I have been saying this for years along with posting stories before giving up. Sadly, all people want to do is criticise Israel who do their best for the Palestinians both living in Israel and in Gaza.

The worst offender is the UN/UNWRA because they continue to call the Palestinians refugees which they are not after 4 generations. But this allows the Muslim controlled countries to refuse them citizenship to which they are legally entitled.

I have heard that the treatment of Palestinians is particularly severe in Lebanon where they have no basic rights whatsover - not allowed to own anything or even work!! How's that for brotherly love?

And to top it all off the way the Palestinians dress up their kids with bombs strapped to them and holding guns in their hands when they are 2 and 3 years old! How can they expect to grow up with anything but hatred and a twisted mind!
