It's a fossilized, cigar-shaped animal, unearthed in Morocco, that lived about 520 million years ago. This strange creature could greatly expand and contract its body, as logged in Doomwatch Legacy by Sunstroke author David Kagan.

520 million years? How can that be when more than half of our elected legislatures who believe in the literal bible and discount evolution know the earth is only 6,000 years old. Go figure. Some evangelical republican needs to pass a law against this sort of loose talk and heresy.

Fascinating. Likely has more brains that our prime minister as well. Maybe they should govern the country instead, they sure couldn't do any worse, Lol!

Fascinating article~ (watched "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, [1956] this past weekend, and pods took over our consciousness - well, you how the story goes,... and the discovery of a lifeform which resembles a pod sounds familiar to the plot of this fun and thought provoking film) I like learning about the acknowledgment of science to life's amazing variety of forms and the ability to live in vastly different environments. Thanks, Dan!
