It is something that the west doesn't very often comment on but there are estimates that possibly millions of Russian people died fighting facism. Some of them died in Concentration Camps being tortured by the Nazis and used as experiments. One infamous experiment was the effect of freezing on a human being. The Nazi 'doctors' would take Russian prisoners of war put, put them in deep tubs of freezing water and leave them until they were nearly dead. Then the Russian soldiers were taken out of the freezing water to test their vital signs. If the Russians survived, they were put in again for longer periods of time. Horrific. Until today the medical community debates the ethics of using the data from these experiments. Even more horrific.

To all those brave men AND WOMEN who fought side by side as soldiers and partisans may you know that your bravery and sacrifices will never be forgotten. Bless you with peace, comfort and prosperity and thank you.

Heidi writes correctly.
Many Russian war prisoners were tortured to death in cruel medical experiments. Most of them were thrown into the gas chambers and burned alive because they refused to work. Those who participated as a guinea in medical experiments also did not survive. How much you need to bring examples to prove how terrible fascism?
Unfortunately fashisky beast has not finished off until the end. He hid. It makes itself felt in some parts of the world.
The Nazis often use weak weak-willed people and young people, so as to affect young people more easily than on the already formed consciousness.
Religious EXTREMISM not much behind fascism.
It is an insult to those who died in the struggle against fascism. They cry out to us from their graves.

The only thing more sad than this are those today who live in free countries that take for granted the freedoms they have with no care or cause to reflect what it took in order for them to have that freedom!! The indifference they show towards those who lost their lives fighting for freedom shows in their inability to understand that when there is a threat of a repeat of this happening they are so intentionally blind and dumb to the warning signs it makes one want to scream!

Please Sign Konstanti's Petition!
We exist thanks to these people ! Eternal Glory to the Defenders of the Earth's people !

Yes, Magda. Stalin was certainly a tyrant.
But the news is not a question of Stalin. Here describes the heroism of Soviet soldiers, it's millions of them died in the war. All of our male population (except for the elderly, the disabled and children) fought on the fronts. They fought against the forces of Nazi Germany and its allies. Providing front took our women. They stood at the bench and day and night our military factory produced shells, cartridges, sewed uniforms. They just fell from exhaustion, had a lot of accidents, but they were so anxious to see their men returning from the front, they worked day and night. All the same, most of and have not seen their men alive, they were killed on the front. This is also not described, this is a topic for another article.
Here is presented the heroism of Soviet soldiers who saved mankind from fascism. They fought for us all.

Thank you Konstantin! My Dad was in World War II and had the job of cleaning out the bodies in the death camps. It's something he took most of to his grave, all the horrors!

Yes, we often forget to tell the stories of other participants in the war and of their immense contributions. Being interested in history I have read many books involving the histories of this horrific event in the history of the world and of the sacrifices made by so many in the fight against fascism.
