On May 14, 2008, an Azande high court accused Lorbeer of practicing witchcraft. The basis of this accusation is a recently published metareview, which compiled and analyzed the data concerning rates of impotence among his male (and German female) audience

Oy vey! The "high court" is declaring witchcraft? Lorbeer is quirky and perhaps out of line in some areas but witchcraft? No more than Criss Angel, David Copperfield with their 'illusions' no magic about it.

Well haven't we developed past Neanderthal? Governments or courts that are serious about such trials need to be disbanded as the flakes they truly are,,,, get a life

Actually, courts like these probably require being investigated for crimes against humanity,,

Wow it must be easy to become a judge on the Azande High Court. It would seem the only requirements for the positions are:

a) lack of common sense;

b) an inability to interpret reading materials, such as Metareviews;

c) eagerness to indiscriminately apply fallacies such as post hoc reasoning to every case without justification or merit;

d) must reside in a cave year-round;

e) avidly shun evidence in favor of unfounded allegations, ad hominems character assassinations, and personal biases;

f) readiness to perform gawd's work of dispensing "justice" to spawn of satan types like still-life performers, pinko commies, leftwingers, antiwar activists, unemployed, homeless varmints, tree huggers, animal lovers, et al...
