Hurricanes can get much, much bigger and stronger than we have so far seen in the Atlantic. The most intense Pacific storm on record was Super Typhoon Tip in 1979, and was nearly half the size of the USA. Learn how global warming stimulates these storms.

I have still to experiment any Global Warming Effect. IN Canada where my parents live it is rather colder than ususla for the season, and where I live in Lima Peru, it is like winter in the fall. Much colder and earlier than ususal.

So much for global warming....

Very informative, keep these going. I wish people could/would take the time to understand what global warming/climate change actually means. We will not see a sudden and unrelently rise in temperatures across the planet, we can expect many off season temperature changes, sometimes warmer - other times cooler then the norm.

Roger- wouldn't you agree then that the climate is changing? Global warming is sort of a misnomer- climate change is a better term for what we are seeing.

Kit- you put it beautifully.
