McDONALDS is lifting prices in poorer suburbs where it believes consumers are more likely to accept higher charges without complaint. Costs were previously based on restaurant overheads and ingredient prices.

that's typical, although perhaps they are doing those areas a favour. May be they will boycott macDonalds for a healthier diet

What ever happened to FAIR PRICES????? If it is the same product then it should be the same price for everyone. Just my opinion.

This isn't any different in principle than airlines offering student discounts on tickets. The amount the customer is happy to pay is different than that of another group.
