This will do a world of good; many, many sufferers will be grateful for this. One of the most important acts so far of the new and enlightened Obama Administration. Stem cells are helpful in many different diseases.

I am in favor of stem cell research, but this executive order is largely symbolic. Stem cell research has been going on for years in the US and around the world. Unfortunately there are only a few proven stem cell treatments for disease after all these years of research which is disappointing. The promise of stem cells are a miracle treatment for many diseases has not been realized.
