One year is the longest a judge has sentenced anyone for animal cruelty? Then maybe the laws need to change where there are longer sentences. I just cannot imagine someone doing that 650 times! I personally think SHE should be drowned. It makes me SICK. If you don't like pets, fine, don't have them, but to have them then do that is inexcuseable, and she should never see daylight as a free woman again. Cats have souls, you know. I consider the murder of a pet just as horrid as a murder of a person. SICK WOMAN.

What is wrong with the system? How can the judge give her 1 lousy year in jail when this poor excuse of a human being confessed to killing 650 animals? That's why the animal abuse keeps on, because the court is extremely lenient with these criminals. Noted!!!

I'm from Ohio, lived in Columbus for 19 years, not counting my time at Ohio State University, and was shocked to see this poor excuse for a human lives there. I think if she can't be given more jail time, she should have to do community service for the rest of her life.

And people need to be warned never to place their beloved pet with someone without really researching to verify that the pet will be placed in a loving caring home.

Wow. There seems to be no end to the lows humans are willing to go morally and spiritually.

She should have gotten more than that: at least a day if not 2 or 3 for each pet she murdered!
